Does anyone else feel like the elite pussied out at the last minute and now we are in some weird limbo?

They are too cowardly to make that final push for open slavery because they know their entire families will be butchered, so now we are in some dysfunctional, half in half out state of society.

Its like they want to walk it back and return to the days of quietly robbing everyone but things are too heated now and they are scared as fuck.
