The painting shows the heavenly realm of God and the saints and the contemporary, mundane world in two levels, which are both separated and linked. The connection follows the central axis. Grace flows from the wounds of the crucified Jesus, as the second person of the Trinity (between God the Father and the Holy Spirit), into a baptismal font and the other sacraments and through them to humanity. In the centre, a woman in red wearing a papal tiara is enthroned as a personification of the Church on a magnificent Renaissance monument. A long line of people emerge from a hole in the background, enter a baptismal building and leave it dressed in white, set on the way to the palace of the church. From there they split into individuals dressed as laypeople, who receive the sacraments in their various types of life, and those who leave the bosom of the church and sink into the ground at the bottom of the picture.

Amun, worshipped by the Greeks as Ammon, had a temple and a statue, the gift of Pindar, at Thebes, and another at Sparta, the inhabitants of which, consulted the oracle of Ammon in Libya from early times more than the other Greeks. At Aphytis, Chalcidice, Amun was worshipped, from the time of Lysander (d. 395 BC), as zealously as in Ammonium. Pindar the poet honored the god with a hymn. At Megalopolis the god was represented with the head of a ram, and the Greeks of Cyrenaica dedicated at Delphi a chariot with a statue of Ammon.
Such was its reputation among the Classical Greeks that Alexander the Great journeyed there after the battle of Issus and during his occupation of Egypt, where he was declared "the son of Amun" by the oracle. Alexander thereafter considered himself divine. Even during this occupation, Amun, identified by these Greeks as a form of Zeus, continued to be the principal local deity of Thebes.
Several words derive from Amun via the Greek form, Ammon, such as ammonia and ammonite. The Romans called the ammonium chloride they collected from deposits near the Temple of Jupiter-Amun in ancient Libya sal ammoniacus (salt of Amun) because of proximity to the nearby temple. Ammonia, as well as being the chemical, is a genus name in the foraminifera. Both these foraminiferans (shelled Protozoa) and ammonites bear spiral shells resembling horns. The regions of the hippocampus in the brain are called the cornu ammonis – literally "Amun's Horns", due to the horned appearance of the dark and light bands of cellular layers.
In Paradise Lost, Milton identifies Ammon with the biblical Ham and states that the gentiles called him the Libyan Jove.

The CFA franc is the name of two currencies, the West African CFA franc, used in eight West African countries, and the Central African CFA franc, used in six Central African countries. Although separate, the two CFA franc currencies have always been at parity and are effectively interchangeable. The ISO currency codes are XAF for the Central African CFA franc and XOF for the West African CFA franc. On 22 December 2019, it was announced that the West African currency would be replaced by an independent currency to be called Eco.
The CFA franc was created on 26 December 1945, along with the CFP franc. The reason for their creation was the weakness of the French franc immediately after World War II. When France ratified the Bretton Woods Agreement in December 1945, the French franc was devalued in order to set a fixed exchange rate with the US dollar. New currencies were created in the French colonies to spare them the strong devaluation, thereby facilitating imports from France. French officials presented the decision as an act of generosity.

The Eco is the proposed name for the common currency that the West African Monetary Zone (WAMZ) plans to introduce in the framework of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). This objective is to create a common currency for all West Africa states. This will also serve to enable the French-speaking west African region to abandon the CFA franc for the Eco, as part of a process to gain complete fiscal and monetary independence from France.
