If there's any evidence, it's not just in the Ukraine.
I still think it's a pipeline war. Iran/Qatar/Turkey want a pipeline to Europe. Ukraine, saves a lot of miles, and if they can pick up existing Russian infrastructure, all the better. Crimea is important, here, too, because it would be the better Black Sea landfall. Straight shot Iran/Turkey Ukraine.
Iranians have shit on Brandon, too. If you ask me. So it's a case of who Brandon is more afraid of, at this point. Iran/Ukraine teamed up with a pipeline Brandon gave them would put them on the same "team", as far as the source of the information is concerned.
Germany not playing along here, My guess is their leverage with NS II would be less if a Turkey/Iran pipeline come on line. Other EU countries would ditch German supplied gas.
Key point to watch at this point is what Germany does with Ramstein.
