I figured this would be the case. Truth Social will likely start out hot then fizzle out.8kun will live on.It must live on.
This is the only platform that even comes close to allowing unadulterated free speech. A platform that uses AI to find and censor free speech is not a free speech platform at all. It’s up tosomeone’s definition of free speech. It’s disappointing that Truth Social is going to employ this technology. I won’t be signing up…wasn’t planning to anyway though.

I don’t think TS is going to be an overwhelming success. It will start well but will ultimately fizzle out. I prefer the 8kun platform vs a platform that uses AI tech to censorhate speech.
I don’t engage in smut and hate speech myself but I’d rather have a platform that doesn’t censor than one that’s warm and fuzzy. The problem is classic slippery slope and more and more speech will inevitably be deemed “hate” speech. I just don’t like it. I’d rather filter the smut and hate speech I don’t want to see myself than have a 3rd party do it for me.
