'member when notables used to have actually worthwhile stuff like decodes, news that painted a picture/informed and sourced info? It seems like notables are just regurgitated press bullshit nowadays. Kinda like what newsbot did - drop the title and a link to the article to drive clicks and views.

Sad.

Another thing I noticed: way more self-congratulating. Way more sucking each other off. Way more referring to anons as a collective than speaking as yourself. Posts and posters consisting of nothing more than tyb or unrelated pictures. Next to no actual research. Just regurgitation and circlejerking.

Sad.

Basically my point, yes, this. It feels manufactured and unnatural. This isn't even natural flow for /b/, at this point it looks like feds are making artificial motion to keep the illusion alive. Hence why the notables are useless/repeating old-ass stuff, just posting newsbot-tier "news" and, as previously mentioned, a lot of self-congratulating, cocksucking and referring to anons as a collective. WE WE WE is constant and consistent. Even the BO says he's part of this anon collective, instead of speaking only for himself and no one else. Shit's fake, yo.

Another observation: as soon as Jim lifted bans for IPs that have been long-standing, the board suddenly filled with a lot of image spam. A lot of it very definitely looks automated and designed to fill breads. The name of the game seems to bloat notables with useless things while blocking any sort of actual discussion. Pretty methodical, if transparent.

One more observation: the sudden shift in language over here. A lot of words have suddenly entered circulation that have only ever been used in disdain and harsh, trademark imageboard irony, but now come posted straight-faced. I won't ID the words themselves, but they stick out like mad among the flow of posts. A lot of posts all of a sudden feel, from a lack of a better comparison, reddit-tier. Those, too, lack any real substance.
