The wait is over: Queen Elizabeth is set to hawk a line of condiments, the U.K. Sun reports. The “Royal Estate” sauce series will feature a tomato sauce “ideal for any time of day,” along with a Worcestershire-type brown sauce “packed with vinegar and spices,” a royal source told the tabloid.
Those royal dressings will be priced at a pretty pence, with the pair retailing for £6.99 ($9.44) for a 295 gram bottle. That compares to £2.89 for a 600 gram bottle of Kraft Heinz-owned HP brown sauce and just £0.60 for a 460 gram white-label version produced by grocer Sainsbury’s.
“If I’m paying £6.99 for a bottle of something, I want wine in it,” Norfolk resident Kate Taylor reasoned to the Sun.
