TSA Backtracks On Allowing Illegal Immigrants To Use Arrest Warrants As ID To Fly

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on Friday acknowledged it was allowing illegal immigrants to present arrest warrants as identification to get on airplanes but said it was ending the practice.

“For non-citizens and non-U.S. nationals who do not otherwise have acceptable forms of ID for presentation at security checkpoints, TSA may also accept certain DHS-issued forms, including ICE Form I-200 (Warrant for Arrest of an Alien),” a spokesman for the agency told The Epoch Times in an email.

The TSA is part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which also includes Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Later in the day, though, the same spokesman indicated the policy had been changed.

“To confirm the identity of an individual and ensure they are not on the no-fly list or pose a known threat to public safety or national security, TSA verifies the identity of every traveler before they are permitted to enter the secure area of an airport. Noncitizens without a standard form of identification may instead present certain DHS-issued forms to a TSA officer. These forms are civil immigration violation documents, do not include criminal arrest warrants, and are not indicative of a threat to public safety or national security,” he said.

The TSA says it confirms the identity of each individual by verifying information found on the forms using data from Customs and Border Protection.

The Biden administration letting illegal immigrants present arrest warrants was first reported by the Daily Caller.

The change in policy came after an outcry over the unusual practice.

“President [Joe] Biden is putting millions of Americans at risk by allowing known criminals and potential terrorists to fly on U.S. airlines. A criminal alien shouldn’t be allowed to board a plane after presenting a warrant for their arrest. They should be detained and brought before a judge,” Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas), who said he went to the U.S.-Mexico border and witnessed illegal immigrants boarding planes without proper identification, said on Fox & Friends this week.

Matthew Tragesser, spokesperson at the Federation for American Immigration Reform, told The Epoch Times in an email before the change that the guidance was “an affront to American citizens, and greatly jeopardizes our national security.”

“In no way, shape, or form would an American citizen be allowed to board a U.S. flight simply by flashing an arrest warrant. If anything, that would cause immediate concern for law enforcement officials. This unconscionable move by the Biden administration aids and abets criminal behavior. Rather than facilitate illegal immigration deep into the interior, the administration should look to deter it as more than 2 million individuals attempted to enter the country unlawfully during its first year in office–an all-time record,” he added.

Under Biden, the United States set records for the most illegal immigrant apprehensions at the U.S.-Mexico border for both a fiscal year and a calendar year.

Biden, a Democrat, and top officials in his administration have dramatically altered or ended key Trump-era policies since taking office, including stopping construction of the border wall and curtailing the use of health emergency powers to expel illegal aliens.

Neil Young demands Spotify choose between his music or Joe Rogan's podcasts

Legendary musician Neil Young issued an ultimatum to the Spotify streaming music service to choose between his music or Joe Rogan's podcasts.

Young posted an open letter to Spotify, which entered into a $100 million deal with Rogan to host his podcasts, calling on it to dump Rogan over what he saw as misinformation on the coronavirus.

“I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them,” wrote Young. “Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.”

Rogan has been criticized by many for advocating for alternate treatments for the coronavirus. In one instance, he advised younger people to avoid the vaccine because their death and hospitalization risk was so low.

“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform,” said Young to his management team and record label. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”

Spotify has been under pressure by those on the left to drop Rogan over his controversial statements about the coronavirus pandemic, the transgender agenda, and other topics. Some employees at Spotify reportedly threatened to organize a "full blown strike" if the company refused to censor Rogan's podcast.

Rogan has previously cautioned his adoring audience against taking his advice too seriously.

"I am not a doctor. I am a f***ing moron. And I am a cage-fighting commentator who's a dirty stand-up comedian!" Rogan said on his podcast in April.

"I am not a respected source of information even for me," he continued. "But I at least try to be honest about what I am saying."

On Monday, Dr. Robert Malone spoke alongside several other world-renowned doctors and medical experts during a panel discussion that was hosted by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI),

The nearly five-hour-long event, which was titled “Covid-19: A Second Opinion,” saw a wide range of issues discussed, including “the global pandemic response, the current state of knowledge of early and hospital treatment, vaccine efficacy, and safety, what went right, what went wrong, what should be done now, and what needs to be addressed long term,” according to its description on Sen. Johnson’s website.

During the event, Dr. Malone, who is one of the esteemed inventors behind the mRNA technology that is being used in the experimental Covid vaccines, stressed that the worldwide campaign to vaccinate everyone under the sun, and hook them on perpetual boosters, is actually severely detrimental to the prospects of ever getting past this shamdemic – especially, he says, with the emergence of the highly infectious, but overtly mild, Omicron variant.

According to Dr. Malone, if the public health regime continues to push this terrible universal vaccination policy, it will keep driving the virus to mutate, potentially to a state where it may be “more pathogenic and more able to elude immune response.”

“As I said back before Christmas, that Omicron has such [a] low risk for severe disease and death. However, it’s got a warning sign – and it’s what Geert [Belgian viral expert Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche] has been warning about, and what the FDA has acknowledged in the original documents allowing the Emergency Use Authorization – in which they told the pharmaceutical industry that they desired the pharmaceutical industry would investigate the risks of antibody-dependent enhancement or vaccine enhanced disease.

If we continue to pursue this universal vaccination strategy in the face of the pandemic, particularly with Omicron now – a much more highly infectious, highly replication-competent virus – what we risk is driving the virus through basic evolution to a state where it may be more pathogenic and more able to elude immune response… in some, I don’t wish to scare, we have had enough fear-porn.”

Dr. Malone continues by pointing out that the currently employed ‘sCiENcE’ behind the universal vaccinations is actually going directly against everything known about “basic viral evolution,” and the impact of the terrible plan is already starting to produce potentially catastrophic results.

Omicron, Dr. Malone says, is not only resistant to the experimental vaccines, but the new strain’s “infectivity” also “seems to be facilitated by the vaccine.”

He concludes, “this [universal vaccination] must stop for the sake of the world.”

“But if we continue to pursue universal vaccination the high probability is that what we will continue to see is the evolution of additional escaped mutants that are increasingly infectious and may well become more pathogenic.

This policy of forced universal vaccination is absolutely contrary to all of our understanding about basic viral evolution. We are clearly seeing the development of escape mutants that are resistant to the vaccine. Omicron is not only resistant to the vaccine, but its infectivity seems to be facilitated by the vaccine – and in my opinion, this must stop for the sake of the world.”
