My thoughts on this? The US should just stay out of it. If Kiev lost Crimea, it's their own fault. Plus, Crimea had a treaty that would allow them to choose to go back to Russia if they didn't like being part of Kiev's Ukraine. Well, they did make that choice, and by a huge margin.
