Jan 27th will be my 4 years anniversary of learning about this operation. I lurked for a year, I have baked a few times and note taken many more. The biggest issue I had with baking and participating in live breads was the shill element with my 3 kids potentially seeing the filth that occasionally comes across the screen. They were toddlers when I started and it wasn't as concerning as it is now but I saw the need for a more public friendly place to disseminate information. I live in the previous breads, I get in here when I can but since we started homeschooling they're here all day.
I knew the shill element was in place to distract and distort the perception of what actually takes place here. I know I put myself and my family at risk by operating that site, but I had to fight back, I see it as an effective weapon we the people can utilize. Bloat-ables can take up a considerable amount of my time and energy, sorting through them to produce the site, but the quality of notables will improve with baker education. That can be trained in a more productive way.
I wrote this up for my regular visitors the other day and wanted to pass it along to anons here that may have some extra time and want to help.
