Fauci expected to discuss universal coronavirus vaccine at White House briefing

Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Biden's chief medical adviser, said he will discuss efforts toward a universal coronavirus vaccine at an upcoming White House briefing, according to pre-recorded comments scheduled to air Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET on SiriusXM’s “Doctor Radio Reports” with Dr. Marc Siegel.
“There's a big effort, and I'm gonna be talking about this tomorrow at the White House press conference is the efforts that we're putting in to develop a pan-coronavirus vaccine, which is gonna be multiphasic," he said.
"It's not gonna be trying to get a vaccine against all the coronaviruses all at once, but start with a vaccine that covers all the different variants of SARS CoV2. And then get a pan-sarbecovirus, which includes SARS-CoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 … a lot of activity that's going on in that regard,” Fauci said.
The White House Covid-19 Response Team briefing is scheduled for 11 a.m ET.

Just days ago, the Kansas City Chiefs handed the Buffalo Bills one of the most heartbreaking losses in franchise history.
Chiefs fans, inspired by the tradition of Bills Mafia, have decided to turn their team's big overtime win into a positive for the Buffalo community, raising $178,000 for Oisehi Children's Hospital in Buffalo as of Wednesday morning, per the hospital.
Beginning Tuesday, donations in increments of $13 began being sent to the hospital from Chiefs fans in honor of the 13 seconds it took for the Kansas City offense to drive down the field to tie the divisional round playoff game at the end of regulation. The Chiefs went on to win on the first drive of overtime 42-36.
The original idea from a Chiefs Kingdom Facebook group was to donate in $13 increments to quarterback Patrick Mahomes' foundation, 15 and the Mahomies Foundation. That changed when Chiefs fans heard more about Bills fan's tradition of giving back to other teams. They instead directed their efforts to their opponent's charity of choice.
The Oisehi Children's Hospital has become closely connected with Bills quarterback Josh Allen after fans donated in $17 increments, totaling $1.1 million, in honor of Allen's grandmother, Patricia Allen, who died last year. There is now a Patricia Allen Pediatric Recovery Wing in the hospital and The Patricia Allen Fund to benefit the critical care team and provide support for equipment, training, education and programs.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul extended the state’s use of universal mail-in voting through the entirety of the year 2022, citing COVID-19 as the reason for keeping the fraud-riddled voting method in place.

Governor Hochul signed Legislation (S.7565-B/A.8432-A) which “permits voting by absentee ballot where there is a risk contracting or spreading disease that may cause illness to the voter or other members of the public.”
The legislation continues a previous policy inaugurated in July of 2020, which expired at the end of 2021, that allowed all New Yorkers to request mail-in ballots.
The move, which will impact the nation’s 2022 midterm elections, follows the state granting 800,000 noncitizens the right to vote in U.S. elections. It also follows mail-in voting, which has been described by the Associated Press as prone to “high-profile errors,” being widely adopted by states for the 2020 election.
States’ heavy reliance on mail-in voting appeared to allow for massive irregularities and fraud that impacted the outcome of the election. In some states, entire elections have been overturned due to massive numbers of fraudulent ballots.
