Agreed. Or you can have sober people, who are otherwise miserable (often coupled with unhealthy). To me, an illusory goal. Would prefer to see a person be/feel well. For those searching/demanding sobriety, did they relapse with that cup of coffee this morning? Alright, you abstain from caffeine, what about that buzz from all the spices you added to your meal? Who decides what's permitted? What is the empirical test we use to establish one's sobriety? Is it with an MRI? Verbal reporting? Breathalyzer? Blood test every hour?
Are two aspirins too many? One is the accepted limit? Per hour? Per day? Who decides? How much chocolate before we consider it a drug? Can't have sugar addicts running around. So much for this year's Halloween!
