Thanks, Anon - will check it out. Sounds like a good idea to me - cutting back time union reps can spend on union work - makes them less susceptible to being bought of by their employers. My son works for a world renowned yacht builder and their union reps are full time and are useless - they've all been bought off by management. They get paid full salary whether or not they actually represent their members abd likely get bonuses from management for quelling disruption. If union reps have to work 75% of the time they will be less susceptible to that kind of blackmail/compromise, amd more in touch with their co-workers complaints, imo.
Khan's a traitor. London is now the home of immigrants in the poorer areas and the liberal elites in the more prosperous areas. Real Londoners have long fled to the outskirts and beyond.
