Capital One Arena broadcast a pre-recorded speech by Qin to the audience on Tuesday on the occasion of Lunar New Year – which the NBA referred to as “Chinese New Year,” despite it being a celebration observed throughout Asia – that also featured Chinese dance troupes, a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” on a Chinese traditional instrument, and other activities “honoring Chinese culture.”
This official Chinese government appearance at what was billed as an apolitical sporting event follows years of efforts by both the NBA and the Communist Party to strengthen ties, resulting in the NBA profiting to the tune of billions of dollars. The NBA’s partnership with Chinese mega-streamer Tencent ensures that Chinese fans can watch government-censored versions of the competition in the United States. The league’s eagerness to cooperate with government-friendly Chinese partners has elevated the profiles of individuals such as Alibaba founder and billionaire Joseph Tsai, owner of the Brooklyn Nets, who has used this platform to promote his authoritarian, pro-Beijing opinions in the league.

The threat of an open war between Russia and Ukraine is coming from Western governments, which appear to be actively working to make it happen, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday, adding that neither Moscow or Kiev wants such a scenario.
The comment came during a daily briefing where spokesman Alexey Zaytsev cited statements by top Ukrainian security officials, which downplayed the threat of so-called Russian aggression, as evidence that the current escalation of tensions has been fuelled by the West.
“Our nation has likewise repeatedly stated that we have no intention to attack anyone,” he said. “We consider the very thought that our people may go to war against each other unacceptable.”

FDA Asks the Court to Delay First 55,000 Page Production Until May and Pfizer Moves to Intervene in the Lawsuit
Somewhere on the other side of the growing heap of government and pharma lawyers is transparency.
As explained in prior posts, in a lawsuit seeking all of the documents the FDA relied upon to license Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, a federal judge shot down the FDA’s requested rate of 500 pages per month and instead ordered the FDA to produce at the rate of 55,000 pages per month starting on March 1.
Since the government has trillions of dollars of our money, it is putting it to good use by fighting to assure that the public has the least amount of transparency possible. To that end, it has now asked the Court to make the public wait until May for it to start producing 55,000 pages per month and, even then, claims it may not be able to meet this rate.
The FDA’s excuse? As explained in the brief opposing the FDA’s request, the FDA’s defense effectively amounts to claiming that the 11 document reviewers it has already assigned and the 17 additional reviewers being onboarded are only capable of reading at the speed of preschoolers.

As the FDA tries to obtain months of delay, guess who just showed upon in the lawsuit? Yep, Pfizer. And it is represented by a global chair and team from a law firm with thousands of lawyers. Pfizer’s legal bill will likely be multiple times what it would cost the FDA to simply hire a private document review company to review, redact, and produce the documents at issue. Within weeks, if not days.
Pfizer is coming in as a third party. But Pfizer assures the Court it is here to help expedite production of the documents. Sure it is! Where was Pfizer before the Court ordered the 55,000 pages per month? Right, doing what it normally does: letting the government work on its behalf – like the way the government mandates, promotes, and defends Pfizer’s product.
But the government did not please Pfizer this time and so here it comes, likely looking for a second bite at the apple. Of course the FDA consented to Pfizer appearing. Veterans Affairs Will Continue to Enforce Vaccine Mandate to its Health Care Personnel
The Department of Veterans Affairs has become the first federal agency to require its frontline health workers to get vaccinated against Covid last year or they’ll lose their jobs.
Last week, a Southern District Court in Texas just protected medical freedom and ruled against the mandated COVID shot for federal workers. Judge Jeffrey Vincent Brown upheld a suit from federal workers who are refusing to be vaccinated against the COVID virus.
“The motion is granted as to Executive Order 14043. All the defendants, except the President, are thus enjoined from implementing or enforcing Executive Order 14043 until this case is resolved on the merits,” Judge Brown said.
On Monday, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough sent out an email stating that the nationwide injunction on the President’s executive order 14043 “does not affect his order requiring all Veterans Health Administration (VHA) health care personnel to be vaccinated.”
According to the email obtained by TGP, VA will continue to enforce the vaccine requirement for their employees, such as psychologists, pharmacists, social workers, nursing assistants, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, peer specialists, medical support assistants, engineers, housekeepers, and other clinical, administrative and infrastructure support employees. This requirement also includes VA volunteers in similar roles.

Many of you have seen that on Friday, a court issued a nationwide injunction on the President’s executive order 14043, requiring that all Federal employees get the COVID-19 vaccine. While this injunction does pause the President’s executive order, it does not affect my order requiring all Veterans Health Administration (VHA) health care personnel to be vaccinated.
So, what does this mean for you?
Impact on the vaccine requirement for VHA health care personnel: The injunction does notimpact the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) authority to require VA health care personnel to be vaccinated. We will, therefore, continue to enforce the vaccine requirement for those employees—such as psychologists, pharmacists, social workers, nursing assistants, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, peer specialists, medical support assistants, engineers, housekeepers and other clinical, administrative and infrastructure support employees. This requirement also includes VA volunteers in similar roles. Effectively, this means that any VHA employee or volunteer who works in VHA facilities, visits VHA facilities, or provides direct care to those we serve is still required to be fully vaccinated or have an approved exception and comply with workplace safety protocols. Exceptions related to a medical condition or a religious belief will be processed as a request for reasonable accommodation to the vaccination requirement.
Impact on the vaccine requirement for non-VHA health care personnel: For VA employees who are not VHA health care personnel, VA will pause on implementing and enforcing Executive Order 14043. This means that we will hold on processing vaccine exception requests, implementing discipline for noncompliance with the vaccine requirement and requiring job applicants for roles other than VHA health care positions to be fully vaccinated.
Impact on other safety protocols: This injunction has no impact on other safety protocols, meaning that masking, physical distancing, testing, travel and quarantine requirements are still in effect.

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers has already proposed 88 bills for the 2022 legislative session, including legislation to ban machine counting in elections.
On Monday, Senator Rogers tweeted a link to view 75 proposed laws. Already, that number has grown.
One of these bills, SB1133, will ban a city, town, or school from conducting mail-in elections. On Monday, this bill passed through the Senate Government Committee with six more new elections laws, including currency-grade ballot counterfraud requirements.
On Tuesday, Rogers announced another critical election security bill via press release. This bill will require elections to be counted by hand and ban electronic tabulating equipment.

In an effort to restore election integrity and to make sure all legal votes in Arizona are counted for, Senator Wendy Rogers (R-6) is introducing legislation that aims to get rid of automated voting machines.
SB 1348 would prohibit the use of electronic or other tabulating equipment and would require all ballots to be counted by hand for any and every state, county, city or town election. Furthermore, neither the Secretary of State, the Board of Supervisors, nor any other officer in charge of elections shall allow the use of electronic or other tabulating equipment. Ballots would be counted by hand only and required to remain segregated by precinct, both before and after counting.
“An alarming number of voting machines are vulnerable to hackers,” said Senator Rogers. “These systems aren’t reliable and don’t have any credibility. We need to make bold moves to guarantee that every vote is accurately counted. We owe this to the people of Arizona. Even just a dozen votes can make or break a race. In order to improve the security of the ballot and election integrity, we need to move from machines to human hand counts.”
To quote American columnist and author William Vaughan, “To err is human, to really foul things up requires a computer.” SB 1348 returns to an election system that every American can understand: hand counting. With complicated voting systems comes complicated vulnerabilities that can be difficult to detect. Arizonans deserve a voting system they can both understand AND trust. SB 1348 returns us to this.
Former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes, who facilitated the shady, corrupt 2020 election, recently said that “AZ must go 100% ballot by mail.” Rogers responded by calling him a “crook” and telling him her plans for this session.

US Avoided Main Question Of NATO Non-Expansion In Written Response: Kremlin
As previously reported, Russia on Wednesday received a hand-delivered written response from the United States to the security proposals Moscow submitted earlier this month to both Brussels and Washington. Russia's central demand has remained that it needs legal security guarantees of no further NATO expansion eastward.
In a fresh statement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that Moscow is reviewing the document, but suggested that the core issue Russia is demanding has been sidestepped in the US document. "There is no positive reaction on the main issue in this document," Lavrov described to reporters.
"The main issue is our clear position that further NATO expansion to the east and the deployment of strike weapons that could threaten the territory of the Russian Federation are unacceptable," the top diplomat explained.
"The content of the document - there is a reaction that allows us to count on the start of a serious conversation, but on secondary issues," Lavrov added.
He charged Washington with deliberately avoiding the central security issue, while still holding out that it was at least a basis on which to further dialogue:
"The principle that one should not strengthen one's security at the expense of the security of others is deliberately avoided. Neither the Istanbul nor the Astana declarations are mentioned by our Western partners in the discussions on European security that are currently taking place… We cannot accept this," Lavrov said.
However, Lavrov said that the next moves will be determined by President Vladimir Putin, who is being briefed on the US response. "After an interdepartmental consultation, we will brief the president, and the president will decide on our next steps," he explained.
Separately on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov echoed the same charge:
"The numerous statements that our colleagues made yesterday make it clear that as for the major aspects of the draft agreements that we earlier presented to other parties, we can’t say that they took our concerns into account or showed any readiness to take our concerns into consideration."
Blinken, for the US side, said Wednesday he hopes to discuss the US response directly with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in the coming days. But on the central issues of Russia's requirement that NATO issue legal guarantees vowing no further expansion eastward, Blinken vowed the Western military alliance won't budge, making clear that…

27 Russian Diplomats Expelled From US - Embassy Laments "Very Bitter Event"
27 Russian diplomats left the United States on Wednesday after a prior State Department order had set a deadline of Jan.30 for their departure, at a moment the showdown at the Russia-Ukraine border continues, and amid deteriorating US-Russia relations.
Calling it a "very bitter event at our embassy," Russian Ambassador Antoly Antonov said in a social media video of the diplomats departing on a bus to the airport: "Our comrades were forced, at the request of the Americans, to leave earlier than the period for which they came here."
The US had framed the prior order to leave as being due to the expiring visas of over 50 diplomats, however, Russia has called the refusal to renew the visas effectively an expulsion.
"Back in September, we were invited to the State Department and given a list of 55 people," Amb. Antonov described, according to an English translation. And the embassy said in a statement that the diplomats were "forced to leave earlier than their tenure expired."
Russia was first notified in late November of last year that the diplomats must prepare to exit US soil. Amb. Antonov said at the time in an interview that "our diplomats are being expelled" and detailed that 27 diplomats and their families are due to be expelled from American soil.
This had followed two dozen Russian diplomats being told to leave in September, with the US refusing to renew their visas as is the normative practice. When that prior event happened, Antonov complained, "It has gotten to the point where the U.S. authorities cancel valid visas of spouses and children of our staff with no reasons provided. The widespread delays in renewing expired visas are also aimed at squeezing Russian diplomatic workers out of the country."
The State Department at the same time has downplayed that the moves have been retaliatory, instead framing it as but the result of an expired, unrenewed visa issue.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine all US citizens in the country are being advised to make exit plans and leave…
Ukraine's government has protested the move, calling it "premature" - to which the State Dept responded as follows…
"These are prudent precautions that in no way undermine our support for, our commitment to Ukraine," a senior official said. The decision was made "based on this military buildup, based on how we see these developments," with the official calling it the "right moment."

Government Data Shows The “Unvaccinated” Are Less Likely To Get COVID
The Public Health Scotland has released data from the past four weeks and it shows that the un”vaccinated” are less likely to get COVID than those who have been injected with two or three doses of the mRNA sludge. The ruling class has been straight-up lying about this being a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” as well, considering those who took the shots are more likely to be hospitalized or die than people who are unvaccinated.
The data showed a rate of infection of 866 per 100,000 people for the double vaccinated and 481 per 100,000 for the boosted, or triple vaccinated. The unvaccinated had a rate of infection of 413 per 100,000. The death rate from COVID is drastically different too. The death rate of those who have had two shots is about 12 per 100,000 which is more than 50% higher than the rate for the unvaccinated.
Mainstream media is finally leaking information here and there telling people the truth about these shots and the CDC has admitted they don’t stop transmission.

'Government is betraying the American people': Leaked video reportedly shows federal contractors flying illegal immigrants to New York suburb
Leaked video reportedly exposes illegal immigrants from southern border states disembarking from a charter plane at Westchester County Airport in New York. The video of alleged undocumented migrants was obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request by former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino – a Republican candidate for New York governor in 2022.
In the 51-minute video, there is bodycam footage from Westchester Police Sgt. Michael Hamborsky – who is seen on the tarmac of Westchester County Airport on Aug. 13, 2021.
There are reportedly about a dozen federal contractors assisting the migrants from the plane to buses.
At 6:09 a.m., Hamborsky purportedly begins asking questions to federal contractors about the charter flight arriving after the airport's curfew.
"You’re on a secure facility here; we really don’t know anything and we're in charge of security," Hamborsky tells a federal contractor, according to the New York Post. "This is anti all our security stuff."
"I’m just trying to figure out what’s what, who’s who and how I’m supposed to keep this secure," Hamborsky continues.
An alleged federal contractor tells the police officer, "We’re not allowed to have our picture taken when we get on base."
Hamborsky reacts by saying, "Un-f***ing-believable. And who’s that by? DHS [Department of Homeland Security]?"
The said contractor replies, "Yes, and the United States Army. You’re on a federal installation but DHS wants everything on the down low."
Another alleged contractor informs Hamborsky, "Listen, my thing is I like to comply but technically we’re not supposed to show IDs or anything. Like I said, everything is supposed to be hush-hush."
Hamborsky asks the men why the charter plane is dropping off purported illegal immigrants at the airport in White Plains – approximately 35 miles northeast of New York City.
"You don’t want to be in somewhere the spotlight is," the man responds. "You want to try and be as down low as possible. A lot of this is just down-low stuff that we don’t tell people because what we don’t want to do is attract attention. We don’t want the media. Like we don’t even know where we’re going when they tell us."
Fox News reported, "One of the contractors told the officer later in the video: 'I get the whole secrecy and all that st but this is even above my fing pay grade . . . the f***, you know what I mean?"
When Hambrosky presses as to why there were secret flights with illegal immigrants flying into the New York City suburb, the purported federal contractor says, "You know why, look who’s in office. That’s why, come on."
The alleged federal contractor states, "You know why. Because if this gets out, the government is betraying the American people."
