If I could sift the anon mood for notables I'd say it's that anons don't want multiple bread notables or dumbassery and very little humor. Anons want to see only the latest greatest and and big updates, but just once. And it makes sense. If you're 24/7/365 you deal in current more often than not. Also you have the archive links for a week back. Notables should be 'latest and greatest' slim and compact. Anons pretty much voted and the vote is in. They confirmed - no bloatables.
