I believe POTUS is trolling them deliberately to cause them to fail.
Force them to question anonymous sources and stop relying on formerly-trusted informants.
Embarrass them by teasing them into publishing speculative articles that are shortly proven false.
It's working!
Like mashing the accelerator as the vehicle is about to crash, or accelerating the plane into the fatal dive.
We can & should help give them a push.
