>Isn't that what we're doing, if not outright, then by a thousand cuts, indifference, selfishness, blindness? Seems like God is waiting for us to do something.

We are saved by Grace, not by works. But the Holy Spirit in us prompts us to do what is good.

Total depravity is a phrase or name that is used to summarize what the Bible teaches about the spiritual condition of fallen man. It is the โ€œTโ€ in the acronym TULIP, which is commonly used to enumerate what are known as the five points of Calvinism or the doctrines of grace.

People think that they do good things because they are good people. But it is only by the grace of God that they are able to do "good things." And even the good things that they do are imperfect. If you really start to think about it, you will understand.

It's called Going Back to Egypt.

I've been to a number of Homeschool conferences and this is what they call it when the homeschoolers just emulated what the public schools are doing.

They need to free themselves from the "familiar and safe" feeling and move into the Promised Land.

Starting to think for oneself is hard for some people.

Numbers 11:5

New International Version

5 We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no costโ€”also the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic.

Malls seem like a prototype for Smart cities.

Everything you need under one roof.

You could almost live there if they had little cubbies to sleep in.

Shower at the gym.

Work and live at the mall.

Like in the movie Logan's Run.

Mall security makes sure you don't live past the age of 30.
