UK to offer major NATO deployment amid Ukraine crisis
The United Kingdom is considering a major NATO deployment in a plan to strengthen Europe’s borders amid rising “Russian hostility” towards Ukraine, after Moscow sent tens of thousands of troops to the country’s border.
The UK has said that any Russian incursion into Ukraine would be met with swift sanctions and would be devastating for both sides.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family have fled their home in the national's capital Ottawa for a secret location as up to 50,000 truckers gathered to protest against the country's vaccine mandate and Covid lockdowns.
Hundreds of truckers drove their giant rigs into the Canadian capital Ottawa on Saturday as part of a self-titled 'Freedom Convoy' which started as a protest against vaccine mandates required to cross the US border.
Days earlier, the Prime Minister had called the truckers headed for the city a 'small fringe minority' before the convoy of hundreds of vehicles grew up to 45 miles long as it made its way to the capital .
Trudeau's office has not commented on the Prime Minister's location for security reasons and the Canadian Parliament's Sergeant-at-Arms has warned that demonstrators could show up at the homes of officials, CBC News reported.
The prime minister's office told the Ottawa Citizen that Trudeau was continuing to 'isolate in the National Capital Region and work remotely.'

The shocking video, captured by CCTV at the O'Hare Airport as the storm began on Friday, shows the China Airlines Cargo 747 sliding on the snow covered ground as it loses control and swerves into cargo on the runway.
One of the cargo bins can be seen getting sucked into the left engine. It's immediately shredded into pieces and damages the engine, which erupts into smoke.
The plane is shaken by the crash and finally comes to a halt.
The Chicago Fire Department responded to the scene, and no injuries were reported.

I've known him many years. Used to fight with him in the war. He can be brilliant in his wheelhouse, but lacks awareness of his own blind spots, and allows his ideas about religion and eschatology to color his reasoning and conclusions.
He is probably right about the approaching hockey stick, but notice how little attention he pays to the positive developments. This convoy has been underway a week now and that's all he has to say on it. Doesn't even bother to link to a video.

There were times during the journey when he wasn't sure he would make it. That was when I held the keys to the site. I did things to spread knowledge of the Fuku Report. Helped run his forum while it lasted. Eventually I got tired of the politics of his "inner circle" and his paranoia. The Fukushima Report is unassailable, and he's done a lot of great work since, but his pessimism is unbalanced and at times illogical. He would do well to check this board's notables at least once a day. I doubt that is the case.

Good logical question and a sound basis for skepticism. I can tell you that during the time I worked with him, I experienced all kinds of electronic weirdness that I considered to be targeted harassment. He claims that there have been attempts on his life, and that is why he lives in a gated community. Then again, there is the matter of directed energy attacks, which are very real. Why not just induce a heart attack? No clear answers, only speculations. There might be metaphysical considerations involved, e.g. some people are not allowed to be assassinated, for karmic reasons or whatever. I have no clear answers. Anyway, unlike a LOT of other readers of his, you seem to have your head screwed on right. Take what is useful and disregard the rest.
