Basilone!
Had the opportunity to pay respects at his grave in Arlington accompanied by the Marines from my machine gun section. Humbling to say the least.
>cannot be done, no ramming cos roads are gridlocked.
Agree, don't see a ramming event like that being likely, at least not from what I can tell from the videos. Other types of FF event attempts (arson, truck bomb, etc) to undercut the movement seem probable, though.

>Think of it from their angle. A truck smashing into a parliament building would be perfect optics for them.
Oh, I am sure they are working overtime to figure out how they can most effectively undercut the truckers with a FF or otherwise… I am just saying that while I think a truck ramming scenario is possible,'m wondering if they are calculating that as their best chance of success.
>Optics matter.
Agree.
They don't need to actually drive thru a concrete wall or something, just need to make a big mess and appear violent.
So right now, their strategy seems to be a simple media blackout. How tenable is this for the next few weeks?
From their POV, they could shift their coverage to the truckers if some FF was perpetrated, then they would be able claim they did cover it while simultaneously putting it in a negative light.
