It’s unconfirmed but just saw a Freedom Convoy protester interviewed on live stream who said he heard the stolen fuel was returned, he figured, and we might surmise as well, because it was seized without proper legal justification or because it was taken in violation of the Charter of Rights. Oopsy for the Police, if true. Now the just need to release the two guys they arrested.

After the livestream ended, was able to get timestamp around 1:26:00 for mention of the cops returning the stolen fuel. Full interview of protester, who is just a “man on the street” begins at 1:16:00. But guy even says he just heard it. So no confirmation. It’s a gud street chat though. Would be great if true. Did a quick search and find nada so far on cops returning fuel seized. It would bode well for the protest if true. The Ottawa Police chief, even in meetings with the mayor and city officials where he can show his true colors, seems to show he has no real justification when the mayor is grasping for any justification for mass arrests. She was throwing out all kinds of codes in desperation but the police chief was always saying, no thats a federal code or a wartime code and obscure and never used code that doesn’t apply. He ended the meeting with that ravenous mayor by telling her, sure you could declare an emergency but it won’t have any effect. Should find out by the end of the week on those mass arrests. Could just be moves and countermoves.
