A Wisconsin-based spice company lost 40,000 customers after its CEO called all Republicans racist.

Earlier this month, Penzeys Spices CEO Bill Penzey sent an email to his paying customers alerting them to a “Republicans are Racist” sale over Martin Luther King weekend.

“Remember how Republicans, going against a mountain of evidence to the contrary, once again lied and said BLM wasn’t a peaceful movement but instead terrorists inciting violence throughout the country and then raced out to buy a crapload of guns because maybe they were finally going to get their chance to shoot a Black person? What a bunch of racists,” Penzey wrote in the email.

Bill Penzey sent out another email admitting he lost tens of thousands of newsletter subscribers after he accused Republicans of being racist.

Penzey was reduced to begging his remaining customers to buy gift cards to offset his company’s losses.

“After starting the year with All Republicans are Republicans and following up with Republicans are Racists we’ve set a nice little Boycott Penzeys! surge in motion. It certainly wasn’t unexpected, but if it’s within your means, you picking up a small stack of Gift Cards would help,” Penzey wrote in an email on Friday, Fox News reported.

A Wisconsin-based spice company that made headlines earlier this month when its CEO sent an email to customers accusing Republicans of racism is now asking people to buy gift cards after hemorrhaging tens of thousands of customers.

Since sending his controversial email, Penzey sent out another missive Friday asking for gift card purchases and admitting that his company had since lost 40,005 subscribers, which is approximately 3% of their base, according to 1130 WISN.

Despite the fact that his politically-charged email reportedly brought in 30,000 new subscribers, Penzey conceded that “we are still down about 10,000. Please help.”

“If you can’t even begin to fathom how to ‘compromise’ with January 6th, or the Republican vaccine lies needlessly killing 10,000 Americans every week, if you have no desire to become half-way racist, and if their intent to destroy our climate for one thousand years to come doesn’t have you asking: ‘What if we just destroyed it for five-hundred years instead?’ we would be better off with you on this Voice Of Cooking email list,” he wrote.

ADF veteran Heston Russell makes criminal complaint against the ABC for publishing his OnlyFans ‘nudes’

ADF veteran Heston Russell has accused the ABC of ‘slut-shaming’ him by publishing his ‘nudes’ without consent while it can be revealed police probe a criminal complaint against the national broadcaster.

Australian Defence Force veteran Heston Russell has lodged a formal criminal complaint against the ABC for publishing a blurred nude photo without his consent.

The images now at the centre of the criminal investigation were published by the ABC in an article about Mr Russell using the website OnlyFans to raise money for charity.

Mr Russell told Sky News Australia in an exclusive interview that the ABC published the intimate photos despite being told they did not have his consent.

In Queensland, where both the ABC reporter and Mr Russell live, there are strict revenge porn laws preventing the publication or sharing of intimate images against the subject’s wishes.

Mr Russell visited a Queensland Police Station in December after the article was published and lodged a formal complaint against the ABC.

Sky News Australia has seen documents produced on January 27 which confirm an investigation was opened by the Brisbane City Criminal Investigation Branch.

“I told the reporter from the ABC who contacted me that he did not have my consent to publish the photos, which were highly sensitive,” Mr Russell said.

“They very slightly blurred the photos but you could see everything.

“The ABC emailed me four days prior to publishing the article, in that email they included the full unblurred and uncensored photos of myself as attachments.

“I informed them that they did not have my consent to possess or distribute them.

“They never responded and then I saw the article published on the weekend.”

Mr Russell has also lodged a formal complaint to the ABC against the author of the article who distributed his private photos, Josh Robertson.

While Mr Russell conceded he has not always made the best decisions in his life, he argues the way the ABC pursued the story and used his sexually explicit images editorially was unacceptable.

“I’m happy to admit to making decisions that I wish I could change now but I will not be slut-shamed by things in the past,” he said.

“I cannot believe the lengths that a taxpayer-funded journalist has gone to in order to try and embarrass me in the public.”

Sky News asked ABC Communications Lead Sally Jackson whether she was concerned the national broadcaster had broken the law.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will headline a big dollar fundraiser Monday night for Ohio Senate candidate Rep. Tim Ryan, in what will be her first fundraising event since the 2020 election cycle.

The fundraising event, which will be held on Zoom, was first announced by the Ryan campaign Jan. 18. The minimum donation for admission is $2,900, and donors can become event co-chairs for $20,800. Ryan is the presumptive Democratic nominee in the race to succeed retiring Republican Sen. Rob Portman, although he does face a left-wing primary opponent in former Consumer Financial Protection Bureau employee Morgan Harper.

Both Hillary and Bill Clinton are reportedly looking forward to playing a renewed role in Democratic Party politics. Hillary Clinton participated in two fundraisers for then-candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris during the 2020 election cycle, although she was ultimately overshadowed by fundraising surrogates like Stacey Abrams and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Bill Clinton hosted a fundraiser in August 2021 for Virginia gubernatorial candidate and longtime ally Terry McAuliffe. McAuliffe chaired Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

New Gates Foundation trustee led plot to overthrow Zimbabwean leader alongside US gov’t

Listed as a US asset while spearheading Zimbabwean regime change plans, billionaire Strive Masiyiwa joins a cast of technocratic zealots on Gates’ new board of trustees.

In a shake-up of an institution named for one of the world’s wealthiest and most influential oligarchs, Zimbabwean billionaire Strive Masiyiwa was appointed to the Gates Foundation’s board of trustees this January. He will be joined on the board by a seemingly diverse cast of corporate elites known for their embrace of technocratic and neoliberal policies.

Back in 2007, Masiryiwa helped orchestrate a failed attempt to overthrow the government of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe alongside the US and the Zimbabwean opposition party it was backing, the Movement for Democratic Transition.

Both the Central Intelligence Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency were made aware of the regime change plans by the Zimbabwean telecom magnate Masiyiwa, and were advised by the US embassy in Pretoria, South Africa to share “elements” of the US government’s “strategy” with him.

Masiyiwa was listed in US diplomatic cables at the time as “strictly protect,” meaning he was an intelligence asset and/or confidential source.

Fifteen years since the plot fizzled out, Masiyiwa has materialized at the center of another global intrigue as tech billionaire Bill Gates rearranges his foundation.

Few figures have benefited as much from the pandemic as Bill Gates. Throughout 2020, legacy media described the former Microsoft CEO and Harvard dropout in near-messianic terms, characterizing him as a “champion of science-backed solutions,” and “the most interesting man in the world.”

While the global 99% has seen its economic power eviscerated under the weight of lockdowns and other Covid restrictions, Gates has doubled his wealth since a pandemic was declared in March 2020 by the World Health Organization that counts him as a top funder. On Wednesday, Gates Foundation CEO Mark Suzman announced the foundation would be governed by a board of trustees beyond the trio of Gates, his ex-wife, Melinda, and 91-year-old billionaire Warren Buffet, who resigned in June 2021. Suzman, who aims to vaccinate 100 percent of the world’s population – ostensibly with products Gates is invested in – also plans to join the board.

CIA Funded Experiments On Danish Orphans For Decades

An extraordinary Danish Radio report exposed how scores of children in Denmark, many of them orphans, were subject to CIA-funded experiments for at least two decades.

The purpose of these activities remains unknown, as authorities continue to actively suppress the truth of what happened in the 1960s and early 1970s.

The startling exposé is based on the work of documentarian Per Wennick, who was one of 311 participants in the mysterious trials. The children never learned the objective of the tortuous assessments to which they were exposed, even after they ended.

Such trials are in conflict with the Nuremberg Code, which enforces the vital requirement of obtaining consent from human subjects in all medical research.

According to Wennick, when he was 11 years old, he was asked at an authoritarian orphanage in Copenhagen if he wanted to try something “fun” at the local municipal hospital. It was vaguely described as an examination of how children “feel”. Believing it would be a welcome diversion, he acquiesced and even received a small sum for his participation.

Wennick went on to undergo a series of regular tests, which included being forced to listen to recordings on headphones of loud noises, screams, and statements intended to scare him. Staff strapped him to a chair while electrodes were placed on his arms, legs, and chest, measuring his heart rate, temperature, and sweat levels.

These experiments continued until 1973, when Wennick was 24-years-old. However, a decade later, while in a hospital due to a skin complaint, he learned his visit—in fact, his every contact with healthcare services— was reported to the Danish Psychological Institute for reasons never made clear to him.

Fast forward to 2018. While at a film festival in the United States, he saw the documentary “Three Identical Strangers,” which tells the story of triplets deliberately separated at birth and offered up for adoption to families of differing socioeconomic backgrounds, in a covert and highly unethical scientific “nature versus nurture” study.

It occurred to Wennick he too may have been unwittingly caught up in a similar experiment.

The Search For More Records On Human Experiments

Diligent digging in local archives unearthed a number of papers revealing that the project in which Wennick became embroiled was the brainchild of Zarnoff A. Mednick, a U.S. psychologist interested in what distinguishes schizophrenic patients from neurotypical people and patients with other disorders.

Denmark was an attractive testing ground. Unlike the U.S., it boasted a central population register, meaning participants could be tracked over the course of many years.

Sacramento police make 55 prostitution-related arrests during National Human Trafficking Prevention Month

The Sacramento Police Department made 55 arrests on prostitution charges in January, according to a press release.

Sacramento police partnered with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, California Department of Justice and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office to make the arrests during January, which is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

Detectives across the agencies went undercover as online sex workers and arranged to meet with alleged buyers, police said.

After making contact with over 600 suspected buyers, detectives made 55 arrests after the suspects allegedly answered online sex ads, according to police.

Police said the 55 arrested suspects are facing misdemeanor charges of soliciting an act of prostitution.

Detectives also arrested a suspect on a felony charge after allegedly pandering, the act of persuading or encouraging someone to engage in prostitution, police said.

Human trafficking of teens and tweens a serious issue on Vancouver Island

For the last eight years, Mia Golden’s been trying to help young people in Greater Victoria who are the victims of human trafficking.

“The numbers are high — we have at least a couple hundred youth we’re working with that are being exploited in some degree or another, and that’s just the ones that we know of,” explains Golden, the crime reduction and exploitation division coordinator for the Pacific Centre Family Services Association.

Golden says human trafficking of young people of all genders — both from Vancouver Island and elsewhere in Canada — is actually quite common.

“It can be done via local sites like Sugar Daddy, social media sites, dating apps — it’s quite alarming,” she says.

And sadly, the numbers are only getting higher.

“It’s very concerning because the other piece that’s of concern is how much younger and younger the young people being trafficked are becoming,” Golden says.

Children as young as 12 and kids under 10 are also being exploited online — asked to provide explicit photos and videos.

It’s why Golden produced the documentary ‘Tied to a Lie: Human Trafficking & Youth Exploitation in B.C.‘ for middle and high school students.

“What I realized is that people don’t know this is taking place,” Golden says. “And for me, how can we help these young people if people don’t know this is going on?”

January is Crime Stoppers month and the insidious nature of this hidden crime is why the anonymous tips service is focusing on human trafficking this year.

“It would be amazing if we received more tips regarding human trafficking, and then we can pass it on to investigators to hopefully stop it from happening,” says Gillian Millam of Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers.

Edo vigilante rescues 28 victims of human trafficking in Benin

A team of local vigilantes in Benin City, the Edo State capital, has rescued 28 victims of human trafficking.

The State coordinator, Edo State Community Vigilante Security Network, Oboh Emmanuel Otoide, disclosed this while addressing journalists at the weekend in Benin City.

He said the victims, between the ages of 13 and 17 years, were rescued during a stop and search operation by his men.

According to him, “The victims were rescued by our men around 2 a.m on Tuesday along Akpakpava Road in Benin City. Three suspects, including two drivers conveying the victims to their destinations were arrested during the operation and handed over to the Department of State Services for further investigations.

“Our preliminary investigations revealed that the victims were being moved from the South East, enroute Edo State, to the South West of the country.”

Oboh said in another operation, officials of the Edo State Community Vigilante Security Network arrested a man who robs people of their personal belongings while pretending to be insane, noting, “The man who identified himself as Olatunji was arrested around Baptist Church at Ring Road, Benin City and has been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force. Among the items recovered from the suspects include ATM cards belonging to victims of his criminal acts.”

He said the Edo State Community Vigilante Security Network is working assiduously with other security agencies in the state to secure the state.

‘Red-Handed’: 23 Former U.S. Senators and Congressmen Who Lobby for Chinese Military or Chinese Intelligence-Linked Companies

Breitbart News senior contributor and Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer’s latest investigative exposé, Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, reveals how 23 former U.S. senators and congressman have lobbied for Chinese military or intelligence-linked companies after leaving office.

Many lawmakers cash in after leaving office by becoming lobbyists for corporations and other special interests. But one would hope that they would not become advocates for America’s primary economic and political adversary — communist China — by lobbying for outcomes that run counter to the United States’ long-term interests.

However, Schweizer’s book reveals that many former congressional leaders, committee chairman, and rank-and-file members are lobbying for Chinese intelligence and military-linked companies.

The following 23 former members of Congress — the majority of whom are Republicans — have lobbied for Chinese military or intelligence-linked companies.

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH)

Boehner’s advocacy for China began right as he became Speaker of the House and Republicans gained a historic majority.

In 2011, Congress was in the midst of passing a currency manipulation bill, the Currency Exchange Oversight Reform Act, to hold China accountable for keeping its currency artificially low, thus making it easier to boost its exports.

China subsequently hired Squire Patton Boggs (SPB), one of D.C.’s most influential law firms, for $35,000 per month to block the bill.

SPB registered as a foreign agent of the Chinese embassy in Washington, DC, after decades of close ties to the Chinese government.

The Chinese currency manipulation bill sailed through the Senate with a 63-35 vote, featuring strong bipartisan support.

However, Boehner would not allow the bill to come to the House floor for a vote even though half of the House Republican Conference and an “overwhelming” number of Democrats supported the bill.

“It’s a pretty dangerous thing to be moving legislation through the U.S. Congress forcing someone to deal with the value of a currency,” Boehner said.

He even argued that the bill would lead to a trade war.

Schweizer said it “should be no surprise” that when Boehner retired from public office in 2015, he joined SPB as a “strategic adviser” to American and foreign clients.

SPB advised and helped Beijing navigate “issues that will threaten their interests,” according to Schweizer. This includes guidances on the defense appropriations process, the 2020 general elections, and American policy on Hong Kong, Taiwan, Xinjiang, human rights, immigration, trade, and sanctions legislation.

Sen. William Cohen (R-ME)

After Cohen served in the Senate, he became the secretary of Defense during the Bill Clinton administration.

He established the Cohen Group in 2001 after leaving the Department of Defense (DOD). The Cohen Group has touted its deep ties to the Chinese government, including Cohen’s first visit to China as a congressman in 1978 when he met Chinese Communist Leader Deng Xiaoping.

“[Cohen] has been a constant presence in the U.S.-China relationship, including commercial development and security cooperation,” according to the Cohen Group’s website.

The Cohen Group also extends its consulting for Chinese state-owned enterprises, which Schweizer says are “often used as tools of the Chinese state.”

The former Defense secretary also served as the vice chairman of the U.S. China-Business Council, a lobbying group for American companies to do business in China.

When the federal government deemed Huawei a security threat because of its close ties to the Chinese intelligence apparatus, the company hired the Cohen Group to negotiate with the U.S. director of national intelligence to find a way to sell its hardware in the United States.

Conclusion

In Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, Schweizer calls for a ban on lobbying on behalf of Chinese military and intelligence-linked companies.

He writes that although “not all lobbying is bad,” that right does not extend to lobbying linked to the Chinese military-intelligence apparatus.
