BAKER, you might want to consider removing >>1549086 from notables
I am always suspicious when someone posts pics with no descriptions, but since it was in notables I decided to dig.
1st pic is of a meteorite and NASA article with the pic can be found here : https://www.nasa.gov/topics/solarsystem/features/life-components.html
See my pic for excerpts from the article.
Pic #2 Found a Russian article titled:
" On the maps Google saw the traces of the wreck of an unidentified ship "(UFO)
"Members of the Internet community, calling themselves "hunters for aliens", drew attention to a strange object, found with the help of Google Earth in the Antarctic. It is reported by The Sun. Users of the service saw in the photos of the island of South Georgia snow trails of a huge unidentified object. According to the supporters of the theory of extraterrestrial civilizations, such a massive trail could leave only an alien ship.
Other users say that there is nothing supernatural in the detected object. "The research station asked us to take photos of the whole island from the air in order to document the population and habitats of deer. As a photographer, I can confirm 100 percent that the object in the picture is only the result of a glacier coming down. Sorry, "- said the user under the name Rain606, who came to the island together with the Royal Navy of Great Britain.
South Georgia, which is home to 20 people, is located in the South Atlantic. The territory of the island belongs to Great Britain."
https://lenta.ru/news/2018/03/05/ufo/ The site has the full aerial video that traces the object back to a large glacier.
Pic #3 - Taken from a Romanian news article:
" Meteor 1-1, primul satelit meteorologic sovietic, lansat în '69, s-a prăbuşit în Antarctica"
"Meteor 1-1, the first Soviet meteorological satellite, collapsed on Tuesday in Antarctica after spending 43 years in terrestrial orbit, Russian spokesman Aleksei Zolotukhin, quoted by the Ria-Novosti agency, said
"Meteor spacecraft 1-1 entered the dense atmosphere of the atmosphere at Moscow time 02.17 (Monday, 22.17 GMT)" and fell on the Antarctic territory, near a territory known as Queen Maud's Land, Aleksei Zolotukhin said.
Fragments fell to an area that corresponds to the 80.9 ° latitude and 5.6 ° west longitude coordinates.
The Meteor 1-1 satellite, weighing 1.2 tons, was launched on March 26, 1969, from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in northern Russia, and was placed in orbit at an altitude of 650 kilometers.
According to the US Space Agency, NASA, the machine ceased to operate in 1970."

So much for the nice photo diversion, but none have anything interesting about what is going on in Antarctica.
