This is such an important untold story for those of us in the West. If progressives really cared about an alternate socialist system that actually benefited the nation, then they would study and promote a system similar to Gaddafi's system. Not suggesting that would work in the west, but it certainly was a success as a nationalist pro-humanity government in a poor desert region that historically only knew fighting of warring tribes in the middle east.
Trump is the "benevolent capitalist" like the way Gaddafi was a "benevolent socialist."

If MrTruthbomb does a future episode on Libya, s/he needs to highlight how NATO planes fired denatured uranium tipped missiles at the pumping station for Gaddafi's 8th wonder of world, The Great Man Made River leaving 70% of Tripoli without water. This triggered the first mass migration of refugees into over crowed boats to cross the sea to Europe on false promises made by the EU.
