Anon read Weird Scenes From Inside the Canyon. That book leaves you thinking that the CIA wrote most of the counterculture music we know and love. They also made all the pairings 'splained away with crazy stories of random encounters. Also, there is a SCARY amount of counter-culture musician with spoopy intel parenting that took place. The book was a tough pill to swallow as this (60s/70s rock) and early 90s was some of the best music ever made and defined much about anon.
