To be clear that article debunks the idea that the government is paying/demanding crops be destroyed. The article calls it a "crazy Tik Tok conspiracy theory". Which is correct. Still, we all need to be much more food independent, because you just never know what can happen, and being able to grow much of your own food is absolutely priceless.
