Biden’s Nominee to be Judge of Central District of California Won’t Answer Whether Racial Discrimination is Wrong Under Questioning From Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Tuesday grilled Joe Biden’s far-left nominee to be judge of the Central District of California.

Cruz simply asked Kenly Kiya Kato if racial discrimination is wrong and she couldn’t answer the question.

Senator Cruz also asked Kenly Kiya Kato if she’s concerned that top law schools are brazenly discriminating against Asian-Americans.

She declined to comment.

Last year Biden’s DOJ notified a federal judge that it is dropping a race-based discrimination lawsuit against Yale University.

Trump’s Department of Justice opened an investigation into Yale in 2018 in response to a complaint alleging Yale discriminates against Asians in its admission process.

In summer 2020, a Justice Department investigation found that Yale University illegally discriminates against Asian Americans and White Americans in undergraduate admissions in violation of civil-rights law.

“Yale’s race discrimination imposes undue and unlawful penalties on racially-disfavored applicants, including in particular Asian American and White applicants.”

“For example, the likelihood of admission for Asian American and White applicants who have similar academic credentials is significantly lower than for African American and Hispanic applicants to Yale College. For the great majority of applicants, Asian American and White applicants have only one-tenth to one-fourth of the likelihood of admission as African American applicants with comparable academic credentials.”

Yale celebrated the dismissal of the high-profile case and bragged about its systemic racism in a statement.

“Our admissions process has allowed Yale College to assemble an unparalleled student body, which is distinguished by its academic excellence and diversity. Yale has steadfastly maintained that its process complies fully with Supreme Court precedent, and we are confident that the Justice Department will agree,” it said in a written statement.

How US meddling split Sudan, creating an oil republic drowning in poverty and conflict

Following decades of US soft power aid interventions to exploit South Sudan’s energy reserves and counter China’s influence, the republic is trapped in humanitarian crisis.

Like most countries, the Republic of South Sudan is a complex nation of shifting alliances and external influences.

Recently, President Salva Kiir, who sports a Stetson hat gifted him by George W. Bush, signed a peace agreement with old enemies, the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-In Opposition. Around the same time, the so-called Embassy Troika consisting of the US, Britain, and Norway facilitated International Monetary Fund (IMF) programs for South Sudan.

When China proposes investment schemes, US politicians call it “debt-trap diplomacy.” As has been seen in South Sudan, whenWestern corporations seek to plunder poor, resource-rich nations, they call it “development.”

The West’s interest in South Sudan is oil. Invoking the colonial-era “white man’s burden” of 19th century imperialists, the US government-backed Voice of America recently justified foreign interference in South Sudan by pointing out that the country’s 3.5 billion proven barrels of crude cannot be easily exported due to the lack of pipeline infrastructure and financial mismanagement. The Embassy Troika and its IMF programs insist “that fiscal data – including on oil and non-oil revenues – should be published … regularly and without delay.”

Today, the US has lost control of the proxy it created and South Sudan is descending into a humanitarian crisis. Alan Boswell, a South Sudan specialist at the International Crisis Group, has acknowledged, “US efforts in South Sudan seemed like a final spasm of naive American nation-building, which has all collapsed in epic fashion.”

So what role did the US play in splitting Sudan and driving the country’s south into crisis?

“Tell them Muslims are responsible”

In 1899, Britain created the Condominium of Anglo-Egyptian of Sudan. The “Egyptian” eponym was a misnomer because Britain also ruled Egypt as a so-called “veiled protectorate,” so Sudan and its capital Khartoum were basically placed under British control until independence in 1956.

According to a CIA Intelligence Assessment, a “profitable slave trade was developed by European traders and their Arab cohorts in Khartoum … [T]he violence and cruelty that it fostered have not been forgotten in the South.”

Britain adopted its typical divide and rule strategy. “Christian missionaries kept the slavery issue alive by telling southerners that northern Muslims were responsible.” After independence, the southern region was “barely integrated” with the north.

In 1955, secessionist southern rebels, the Anya-Nya (“snake venom”), initiated the decades-long civil war. The CIA’s Current Intelligence Country Handbook noted that religion was not the only — or even main — point of division. The majority of southerners were black and the ruling officials in the north were overwhelmingly Arab. Resource concentration was a major problem. Heavily dependent on revenue from cotton, Khartoum absorbed Sudan’s wealth to the detriment of the rest of the nation.

CIA analysts were hopeful that the first post-independence dictator, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Abboud, would follow a pro-Washington course. An Intelligence Bulletin states: “The regime has accepted the American aid program … [and] has moved to curb pro-Communist …. publications.” Gains made by communist politicians a decade later were crushed after the elected government banned left-wing parties and disenfranchised southerners.

As the north’s war against southern secession continued, a reported one million people had died by 1970 and hundreds of thousands had fled to neighboring countries. The US tolerated Soviet arms to Khartoum as it effectively let the USSR fight a proxy war against the south. Israel poured weapons into the south, reportedly to worsen the war in the hope of diverting the attention of the northern government from the Arab-Israeli conflicts.

instituted a Front Line States policy of pressure against Khartoum with the assistance of Uganda, Ethiopia, and Eritrea.”

The Clinton administration sanctioned Sudan, citing as an excuse the Bashir regime’s alleged links with “al-Qaeda” and the political National Islamic Front, which certain US politicians claimed was a terror group. In 1998, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC) revealed: “Dr. John Garang, in his meeting with SFRC staff, insisted that all development assistance be targeted to areas under SPLA control, some of which have not been under [National Islamic Front] control for five or more years.”

So-called aid money continued to pour into the south in an effort to consolidate the rebels and build a sense of southern nationalism in the public psyche. In March 1999, National Endowment for Democracy (NED) President, Carl Gersham, said: “NED grantees continued to play prominent roles in the human rights and democracy struggles in Liberia and Sudan, where NED has mounted significant programs.”

In 2001, NED began funding the Center for Documentation and Advocacy (CDA), which “publishes and distributes the South Sudan Post throughout Sudan and abroad.” The CDA also received USAID grants. USAID notes that ceasefire in the Nuba Mountains was signed in January 2002 at the behest of the US and Switzerland, calming violence between al-Bashir’s forces and SPLM/Nuba people, who sit on enormous oil wealth. The July 2002 Machakos Protocol, according to USAID, “established the premise of ‘one country, two systems’.”

But “one country, two systems” would soon become two countries, two systems. By then, the George W. Bush administration’s (2001-09) attitude towards the north was a little more balanced. Secret “counterterrorism” operations saw quiet collaboration between al-Bashir and the Bush administration, even as the US continued to bolster al-Bashir’s southern enemies. Al-Bashir’s National Security Advisor, Salah Gosh, for instance, was a CIA collaborator who met with Secretary of State, Colin Powell. (Gosh later attempted a failed coup against al-Bashir.)

In 2002, US Ambassador John Danforth described the SPLM as “the chief antagonists in the Sudan conflict.” In December, USAID’s Office of Transitional Initiatives (OTI) sponsored the All-Nuba Conference, which “[brought] together representatives of civil society, the [government of Sudan], the SPLM, and others from all parts of the political spectrum to discuss the future of the Nuba people.”

Peace agreements legitimized southern rebels

USAID’s OTI was described in 2004 as “supporting people-to-people peace processes in southern Sudan.” The program also sought to “increase the participation of southern Sudanese in their governance structures.” This would be achieved by establishing a so-called Independent Southern Sudan Media and the creation of legal aid units, women’s empowerment, and an Education Development Center to establish short-wave radio broadcasts in Dinka, English, Juba-Arabic, and Nuer.

Facilitated by USAID’s then-administrator, Andrew Natsios, and Ambassador John Danforth, al-Bashir signed the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in 2005 with the SPLM. Though the US took credit, it was a hard-won peace largely negotiated behind the scenes with Garang and Vice President Ali Osman Taha. USAID notes that the CPA “usher[ed] in a new era of American assistance in Sudan. The country became a U.S. priority in Africa, and among the highest in the world.”

Garang died in a 2005 helicopter crash attributed to “pilot error.” He was replaced with Salva Kiir, whom US President George W. Bush described as “a friend of mine.”

Democrat rep calls for quarantine to observe those refusing vaccines

Villa Park State Rep. Deb Conroy (Democrat) wants to "isolate or quarantine persons who are unable or unwilling to receive vaccines, medications, or other treatments."

HB 4640 is scheduled to be heard in the Illinois House Human Services Committee February 2 at 9:00 AM.

If HB 4640 were to become law, persons exposed to an infectious disease could be placed under Public Health Department observation, only possible in a contained atmosphere with Department watch guards, some suggest such as a concentration camp.

The bill says:

To prevent the spread of a dangerously contagious or infectious disease, the [Public Health] Department may, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (c) of this Section, isolate or quarantine persons whose refusal to undergo observation and monitoring results in uncertainty regarding whether he or she has been exposed to or is infected with a dangerously contagious or infectious disease or otherwise poses a danger to the public's health.

HB 4640 would also set up a state network data collection system for persons that have received mandated vaccines, medications, or otherwise.

Conroy's measure is to be heard this week.

Over 3000 witness slips opposing the bill have been filed as of Monday afternoon.

Alphabet Explodes 7% Higher After Beating Estimates Across The Board, 20-For-One Stock Split

Heading into today's post-market earnings juggernaut, which includes EA, SBUX, PYPL, GM, and others, the one company investors were most focused on was Google, pardon Alphabet, the third largest US company by market cap As Bloomberg writes in its preview, investors will be laser focused on progress in Alphabet’s Google Cloud segment. The internet company’s cloud-computing unit is the No. 3 player in the U.S., behind Amazon Web Services and Microsoft’s Azure.

White House Recommends Spotify Do More to Censor Joe Rogan

The White House indicated Tuesday that Spotify’s attempts to address what they described as coronavirus “misinformation” on podcaster Joe Rogan’s interviews was not a strong enough response to the freedom of speech controversy.

Spotify announced a decision Sunday to include content advisory warnings on Rogan’s interviews about the coronavirus pandemic with sources dissenting from the government narrative about the virus.

“It’s a positive step but more can be done,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during the daily briefing on Tuesday.

Spotify acted to address the situation after musicians Neil Young and Joni Mitchell asked the company to remove their music from their platform as part of a protest of Rogan’s interviews.

But Psaki called on technology and media platforms to do more to censor what she described as “misinformation” about the virus.

“That certinaly includes Spotifly (sic) she said, mispronouncing the tech platform’s name.

“This disclaimer, it’s a positive step but we want we want every platform to continue doing more to call out misinformation and disinformation while also uplifting accurate information,” she continued.

She said it was a “fact” that people who were not vaccinated were “six to eight times more likely to die” from the virus that people who were vaccinated and boosted.

“That’s pretty significant, and we think that is something that unquestionably should be the basis of how people are communicating about it,” she said.

In a social media video addressing the controversy, Rogan promised to include more balance on the issue of the coronavirus and the vaccines so that all sides of the issue could be explored.

“I don’t want to just show the the contrary opinion to what the narrative is,” he said. “I want to show all kinds of opinions so that we can all figure out what’s going on, and not just about COVID, about everything, about health, about fitness, wellness, the state of the world itself.”

Senator Ben Ray Luján Hospitalized After Suffering a Stroke

Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) was hospitalized with a stroke last Thursday and operated on to ease brain swelling. Luján is expected to make a full recovery, however it has not been estimated when he might return to the 50-50 Senate. Luján’s office waited until Tuesday to inform the public with this statement:

Luján, 49, is in his first term in the Senate having been elected in 2020 after serving in the House from 2009-2021. Luján’s absence while he recovers could place the Democrat agenda and controversial Joe Biden nominees in limbo depending on how long his recovery takes. Joe Biden is set to nominate a Supreme Court nominee to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer. Kamala Harris’ tie breaking vote may not be able to be used if the 50 Republican senators stand united.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) issued a statement on Lujan, “My thoughts are with Senator Ben Ray Luján and his family. I’m so glad to hear that he will make a full recovery. We look forward to his quick return to the Senate.”

Arizona State Rep. Walt Blackman’s Wife, Kristi FRAMES TGP’s Conradson With Racist Texts – Facebook Posts Quickly Deleted

Arizona State Representative Walt Blackman and his wife, Kristie, have targeted The Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson with vicious smears against Conradson’s character.

TGP reported that RINO Walt Blackman was against decertification of Arizona’s fraudulent 2020 election claiming, “There is nothing in the Constitution that says that we can decertify.”

Just minutes after this article was published, Blackman called Conradson to demand that the article be taken down.

Blackman claimed that what Conradson wrote was untrue, realized he was mistaken, then pledged to post a Facebook live video to clarify his stance on decertification or nullification of the fraudulent 2020 election. Blackman quietly did a live stream, but he did not publish the video to his page.

Blackman refused to comment on why he removed the video.

Minutes after this phone call, Kristie Blackman texted Conradson.

Last Friday, The Gateway Pundit reported that Kristie sent multiple crazy texts to Conradson for hours with no response.

One of Kristie’s texts said, “I have a surprise for you.”

Hours later, Conradson was surprised to see that Kristie made public Facebook posts with vile and damaging accusations against him. On Friday, Kristie falsely claimed that Conradson sent multiple messages to Walt and Walt’s daughter, using the n-word against them.

Kristie: Now you send this to my Daughter!! Jordan with The Gateway Pundit!!

Kristie quickly deleted the posts.

This is not even Conradson’s phone number.

Despite having his number and knowing these texts did not come from Conradson, Kristie spread this lie in an attempt to defame his character.

Was this the surprise she had planned? Were these messages even real, or was this just her plan to get back at Conradson for his work?

Kristie Blackman refused to comment on the racist accusations saying, “don’t call me again.”

On Saturday, Conradson called the phone number and reached Walt Blackman’s voicemail.

Catering To The Left’s Delusions Greenlights Sex Crimes, Looting, And Torturing Children

The leaders of our most basic institutions will do everything in their power to ensure that you cater to their delusions. Don’t.

Two news stories stood out to me over the past few days, and though they went largely unnoticed by the corporate press, I can’t stop thinking about them and what they signify.

The first is about Lia Thomas, a man who has been shattering records as a member of the University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team. He has reportedly been making his female teammates very uncomfortable when he fails to cover up his penis in the women’s locker room.

“It’s definitely awkward because Lia still has male body parts and is still attracted to women,” one of his teammates told The Daily Mail.

The second story is about a 26-year-old man in California who recently pleaded guilty to molesting a 10-year-old girl in a women’s bathroom eight years ago. This man, whose name was James Tubbs at the time of the crime but who now goes by “Hannah,” has been sentenced to just two years in the female section of a juvenile facility — because he was two weeks shy of his 18th birthday at the time of the crime and because he now claims to be a woman.

In one case, we have a heterosexual man flashing his genitals to his female teammates in the locker room before smoking other women in the pool. In the other, we have an adult male who, instead of being registered as a sex offender, will be shipped off to a children’s facility where he’ll be housed with girls like the one he molested.

These stories have some things in common. They’re obviously both shocking to rational listeners because they both defy logic and decency. Additionally, in both cases, men are actively harming young women.

Furthermore, both accounts are swept under the rug by the corrupt press, which doesn’t want to give them airtime not because they don’t have news value — they absolutely do — but because they don’t support the proper narrative.

Embedded within that last commonality, however, the one about the leftist-dominated media not caring, is a rampant problem within our ruling institutions that extends far wider than cable television and deeper than the gender war. It’s the simple fact that our basic institutions — from the halls of government and our entertainment industry to our newsrooms and classrooms and laboratories — have adopted, as one of their core functions, catering to delusion.

This is evident in the stories above. In them, universities, legal experts, parents, and the press — all of whom intuitively know that men and women are different — have opted for catering to the delusions of a couple of sick men over protecting vulnerable females and children.

It happens all the time in the sex realm. Medical “experts” cater to delusion when they refer healthy men for castration and women for mastectomies. School administrators do the same when they insist that teachers call little boys “she/her” if they so desire.

But transgender politics is not an outlier regarding the left’s delusions. It’s crucial to recognize that such celebrated irrationality throughout our culture is a cause of our institutional decline, not merely its effect.

Consider how catering to delusion is contributing to the breakdown of law and order in this country. In 2020, Americans experienced the “summer of rage,” when Black Lives Matter rioters killed civilians and police officers and caused billions of dollars in damage to small businesses and government buildings.

They were given a free pass by so many in the media and halls of power, who justified the violence by citing rampant shootings of unarmed black Americans by police. In fact, these talking points led to soft-on-crime policies that caused violence and murder in our nation’s cities to skyrocket.
