Three separable issues:
1) A transparently accurate and reliable means of performing a vote among a gathering of people.
2) Trust, that the people gathering to vote are adequately and truthfully informed on the issue needing a ‘direction’ vote.
3) Understanding and prior agreement that there are limitations on what can be voted upon (eg, it is not permissible to conduct a vote, and eat the losers of the vote).
The whole ‘electronic’ part of your quest is a nonstarter. Normal, common, everyday people can not see, feel and touch electrons to examine them for manipulation and ‘prior/post programming’ to slight-of-hand an “Election” or vote for actions. And another thing, on that part of things that MUST be prohibited from “voting”, things like science, math, engineering, history, rights… a particularly unique aspect of the American experiment starting with the Declaration, Constitution and BoR… no where in there is ever a ‘permission’ granted to “Government” to pick and choose a narrowing of humanity’s journey ‘to be voted on’. The biggest slight of hand by Gov/MSM/Edu is tricking We the People into falsely believing Gov knows what it’s doing and that We just need to vote which logo and colorscheme We like best. A complete dumbdown of the true potential of free people.

Second, please make sure you understand, value and comprehend why certain things are NEVER to be “voted” on (thoughts, speech, words, gatherings, redress and self/group defense… for starters)
