I can guarantee…USBS doesn't report all quakes.
And downgrades a lot.
I'm only stating facts. They do it. I live in a prone area and about 10% of what happens here gets reported. Take that with a grain of salt as you dun know me from Adam.
Haven't looked into this one though. Generally make my quake rounds a few hours from now plus Saturday….many reporting agencies either jack off at work or don't report in therefore horrible track record of reporting from them on weekends. :)

But, you can FIND the info. As with Yellowstone, it could be bogus charts at times but for instance, the agency (university I think) that handles it….doesn't work on the weekends. Thus no reporting.
I'd imagine it'd be similar with other areas as well. Sometimes they'll pop out a noticeable one but they have a track record also for being dodgy hence why it's easy to raise an eyebrow and wonder how much f*ckery is going on there. I mean HVO ex guy in charge never thought Hawaii would have an 'explosive eruption' but here you have it. He's now at Yellowstone…in charge….pray LOL
