This is similar to what happened to my Mum before she was diagnosed with lung cancer. It typically manifests as a brain tumour due to how the pulmonary system works. She had two of them that were causing swelling on her brain in the area that affected her ability to communicate.
The useless doctor up the road diagnosed it as urinary tract infection. Thankfully the hospital did an X-ray and discovered the tumours, gave her steroids to reduce the swelling and she was back to normal overnight. Sadly the oncologist wrote her off, gave her radiotherapy that made her much worse and she died 6 months later.
She knew something was wrong several months before it happened too but was ignored. These medical crooks need to be strung up.
