He was sacrificed before God the Father as the legal just payment for the sins of all mankind.

Our salvation can be legally offered to us because it was paid for, willingly, by the only One who had to sin debt to pay Himself.

Mark 10:45

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

John 10:14

“I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.

15 “As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Romans 8:3

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Take it or leave it. It’s a gift that’s been paid for on your behalf by God Himself.

Or pay it yourself …

Salvation and forgiveness can be legally offered to the guilty because it was legally paid for in full by One who was innocent.

Our redemption came at great cost.

But it is still a gift. Take it or leave it.

Choose wisely.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

Hebrews 9

And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

Greatness of Christ’s Sacrifice

23 ¶ Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another—

26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
