Bernie Moreno of Ohio is leaving the race for Senate, but I would like to thank him for his time and effort, and that of his wonderful family. I was very impressed with Bernie who was tough on illegal immigration which, after the Biden disaster at the Border, has become a big issue for all candidates. He has done much for Ohio and loves his State and our great MAGA Movement. His decision will help ensure the MAGA Ticket wins BIG, as it is all over the Country. Why isn’t the corrupt Unselect Committee of political hacks and highly partisan sleazebags in Washington investigating the massive voter fraud and irregularities that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election, rather than spending all of its time investigating those who were protesting its result? It was the Crime of the Century! Large-scale proof of fraud and serious irregularities exist all over the place. Also, why is Crazy Nancy Pelosi and her files, which reportedly have been largely destroyed and deleted, not under investigation for not properly securing the Capitol with Soldiers or the National Guard that were strongly recommended to her by me and others? I knew the crowd would be extraordinarily large because they were protesting the RIGGED ELECTION. Capitol security was her job, not the President’s, and the American people now know that. If she did with security what she should have, there would have been no “January 6” as we know it. The Fake Unselect Committee wants nothing to do with that subject because they know it was the fault of Nancy Pelosi and, to a lesser extent, the Mayor of D.C. So, if I recommend Soldiers and if she refused to use them, why am I, and those around me, responsible for anything? We’re not, plain and simple!

It's time to reflect on how Jabcinda Ardern came to power. This is not a good story, it illustrates perfectly the role MMP played and its complete failure as a system.

?? Arden became a list MP. She could not win the Auckland Central electorate seat despite trying more than once. The Labour party chose her, the people rejected her, but she stayed on nonetheless;

?? She gained an electorate when David Shearer stepped down. This is a safe Labour seat previously held by likes of Helen Clark and Warren Freer.

?? She became Labour leader in a surprise move in the runup to the 2017 General Election. Andrew Little stepped aside rather surprisingly, catapulting Ardern into the limelight;

?? Despite that, she came second, a distant second at that.

?? In post election coalition negotiations, Winston Peters of NZ First chose Ardern and anointed her as prime minister. The resulting Labour/NZ First coalition was a true minority government as it had fewer votes than the Opposition. The cowardly Greens propped up the government by becoming a 'support partner', which meant they avoided being in government with the all the responsibilities that that entails, but with all the perks.

?? After a series of crises, Ardern developed her cult of personality, culminating in her emergency measures as the result of a shamdemic.

?? She then rigged the 2020 General Election. The party vote is paramount and this had to be rigged. How do we know this? Across the country, rural and regional seats party voted Labour, but we are expected to believe these same voters chose to split their two votes, party vote Labour and electorate vote National. In the South Island 100% of rural seats voted Labour, but with the exception of Rangitata where National fielded no candidate, all these seats chose a National party person for their local MP. There should be a Tui billboard…Yeah right. Strangely, National capitulated, which makes them look complicit.

?? Ardern then became a rampaging genocidal maniac.

Jabcinda Ardern was parachuted in, elevated without reason, placed in charge and then set about destroying New Zealand. This is so obvious that you don't even need to be hit by a feather duster to see it.

Remove her from office. Then start the arrests.

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds on Thursday said she will end her state’s COVID-19 emergency declaration and will shut down vaccination and case count websites.

“We cannot continue to suspend duly enacted laws and treat COVID-19 as a public health emergency indefinitely,” Reynolds, a Republican, said in a statement. “After two years, it’s no longer feasible or necessary. The flu and other infectious illnesses are part of our everyday lives, and coronavirus can be managed similarly.”

The governor signed the final extension of Iowa’s public emergency and will allow it to end on the night of Feb. 15, according to her proclamation (pdf). It was first signed in March 2020 during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the emergency declaration ends, two websites—coronavirus.iowa.gov and vaccinate.iowa.gov—will also “be decommissioned” on Feb. 16. Information that was stored on those websites, however, will be accessible online and via other state and federal agencies, her office said.

“While our COVID-19 reporting will look different, Iowans should rest assured that the state health department will continue to review and analyze COVID-19 and other public health data daily, just as we always have,” Iowa Health Director Kelly Garcia said in a statement. ..

A recent Danish study has found that the BA.2 subvariant of the Omicron coronavirus is more transmissible than BA.1 and more able to infect vaccinated people. The study, analyzed Covid infections in more than 8,500 Danish households between December and January.

The findings showed that people infected with the BA.2 subvariant were approximately 33% more likely to infect others, compared to those infected with BA.1.

The BA.2 variant has become the dominant strain in Denmark where it accounts for roughly 82% of cases, but worldwide the "original" BA.1 accounts for more than 98% of Omicron cases.

Lead study author Frederik Pleaser told Reuters, "If you have been exposed to Omicron BA.2 in your household, you have 39% probability of being infected within seven days. If you instead had been exposed to BA.1, the probability is 29%. That suggests BA.2 is around 33% more infectious than BA.1."

The study also showed that BA.2 was relatively better than BA.1 at infecting vaccinated and booster-vaccinated people, indicating greater "immune evasive properties" of the subvariant.

Researchers did not discount the vaccines, stating they still play an important role, claiming both booster-vaccinated and fully vaccinated individuals are overall less likely to get infected and transmit either of the subvariants, than the unvaccinated.

The study's researchers summarize, "We conclude that Omicron BA.2 is inherently substantially more transmissible than BA.1, and that it also possesses immune-evasive properties that further reduce the protective effect of vaccination against infection."

The study, was conducted by researchers at Statens Serum Institut (SSI), Copenhagen University, Statistics Denmark and Technical University of Denmark and has not been peer-reviewed yet.

The World Health Organization stated on February 1 that the emerging BA.2 form of the Omicron coronavirus variant does not seem to be any more severe than the original BA.1 form based on Danish data.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning about two COVID-19 tests made by Empowered Diagnostics because the tests aren’t approved by the FDA, even though the tests’ labels indicate that they are.

Empowered Diagnostics makes the CovClear COVID-19 Rapid Antigen and ImmunoPass COVID-19 Neutralizing Antibody Rapid tests.

Both tests have been recalled by Empowered Diagnostics, the FDA said in an announcement in late January. The recall is listed as a Class 1 recall, which the FDA’s website describes as the most serious type.

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning people to stop using the Empowered Diagnostics CovClear COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test and ImmunoPass COVID-19 Neutralizing Antibody Rapid Test,” the agency’s statement said. “These tests were distributed with labeling indicating they are authorized by the FDA, but neither test has been authorized, cleared, or approved by the FDA for distribution or use in the United States.” ..
