Despite pushing COVID-19 booster shots for months, the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) is now advising Canadians to delay getting the shots by three months if they’ve been infected with the Omicron variant.

According to the NACI’s recommended interval breakdown, those who have been infected with Omicron are being asked to wait “3 months after symptom onset or positive test (if asymptomatic) and provided it is at least 6 months from completing the primary series.”

Federal and provincial public health authorities have been pushing Canadians to get their third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine since September, when eligibility was first opened up to seniors and other vulnerable populations. Continue…

As all eyes were on Ottawa this past weekend, while smaller, but equally passionate, protests took place all across Canada — with Saskatchewan being no exception.

Ottawa was all abuzz over this past weekend, especially on Saturday, January 29.

As always, Rebel News had boots on the ground, getting some fantastic coverage of the very peaceful and jubilant events in our nation’s capital.

While all of that was taking place, several protests and “mini-convoys” were occurring nation-wide! Whether in rural regions or cities, thousands of people gathered all over the country to share in the festivities and have their voices heard.

Saskatchewan was no exception!

Although I was unable to cover the protest, I was able to obtain some footage on the ground from people who attended.

I wanted to make sure that this footage was shared with other Canadians and the world, to show that while Saskatchewan may not be the most populated province, the people here know how to make some noise when it counts!

Convoys from all around made their way to Regina, with the convoy from Saskatoon bringing in hundreds of trucks.

There were also smaller protests held around the province at various towns (though footage in this report is solely from the Saskatoon and Regina regions).

Sit back and enjoy some Prairie freedom spirit, including beautiful First Nations drumming and a touching rendition of the national anthem.

Feds placed at least 20 Health Canada employees on unpaid leave due to vax status

The exact number of federal employees fired for not providing their private medical information is impossible to surmise, because, ironically, several agencies cited privacy concerns upon being requested to reveal this data.

The federal government has placed at least 20 employees of Health Canada on unpaid leave related to vaccination status, while the Human Rights Commission also admits to firing fewer than 10 employees for not complying with the jab or job mandate of Trudeau's government.

Hundreds of other public servants across dozens of federal agencies and ministries were also constructively fired for their decisions to remain unvaccinated or to not divulge their COVID-19 vaccination status to their managers.

The data comes from an order paper response to a government-wide inquiry posed by Conservative MP Rosemarie Falk of BattleFords-Lloydminster.

The Economic Development Agency of Northern Ontario, unlike their Southern sibling agency, did provide their data, saying no employees were laid off.

In the video below, a white vehicle can be seen speeding up and then ramming into the back of another vehicle where protesters are casually lining the edge of the street. There are conflicting reports about how many people were injured, but at least one person can be seen standing in the back of a pickup truck when the white vehicle accelerates and appears to run over the pedestrian and then quickly drives away. Earlier this week, the US Food and Drug Administration announced that it had ‘fully approved’ the Moderna Covid vaccine for use in all US adults over 18 years old.

Just like the Pfizer vaccine ‘approval,’ the FDA ignored several serious red flags and circumvented their own expert vaccine advisory panel to ‘fully approve’ the Moderna vaccine. Also similar to Pfizer’s ‘Comirnaty vaccine’ approval, Moderna’s ‘Spikevax,’ is not actually available in the US, but, rather, is able to be swapped out with the previous version that is still under EUA approval.

It is unlikely that the fully approved ‘Spikevax’ will be seen in the states anytime soon, especially considering the massive stockpile of Moderna EUA vaccines that has been compiled by the US government.

Just days after the announcement, the FDA quickly removed a document from their website that explained the reasoning behind their decision to approve Moderna’s vaccine after it was found to have included damning data showing the rate of heart inflammation in individuals that have taken two doses of Moderna’s vaccine.

The document, titled ‘The Summary Basis for Regulatory Action,’ provided specifics about the decision to approve the Moderna jab, including several references to an unpublished analysis that revealed the rates of post-vaccination heart inflammation are actually substantially higher than what has been previously disclosed to the public.

The now-deleted FDA data compiled records from four separate insurance claims databases showing that the rate of myocarditis and other forms of heart inflammation following a two-dose regimen of Moderna is 148 per million among males aged 18 to 25, which is a whopping 2.6x increase over the highest rate that has previously been reported.

Within hours of the information being flagged by the Epoch Times, which had reviewed the data and sent questions about the massive increase to FDA officials, the entire document was quickly scrubbed from the agency website “overnight.”

“These cameras do not actually show what is happening on the ground in downtown Ottawa. For safety reasons we strongly urge you to remedy this situation and restore live feed from those CCTV cameras. OTTAWA, Canada — “It’s nothing but smiles, good vibes, support, love, appreciation, resistance, and freedom thoughts,” Dave from Montreal told me on Wednesday with a slight Quebecois accent, describing the ongoing protests against Chinese coronavirus mandates in the nation’s capital.

Dave traveled to Canada’s capital to help support truckers and other protesters in front of Parliament Hill, pairing up with an elderly lady to sustain the rally’s participants with coffee, hot chocolate, assorted protein bars, soups, sandwiches, and whatever else others donated.

Truckers began organizing convoys from Western Canada the week prior in opposition to the federal government’s decree that “unvaccinated” Canadian truck drivers re-entering the country by land subject themselves to a 14-day “quarantine.” “Unvaccinated” foreign truckers are now denied entry to Canada.

The atmosphere of the protest on Saturday in downtown Ottawa was cheerful, happy, and infectious. Despite daytime temperatures around -20 Celsius (about -4ºF), Canadians coming together in opposition to human rights violations in the name of “public health” were upbeat.

Thousands of people were present on and around Parliament Hill on Wednesday, many flashing big smiles beaming from bare faces. The protesters contrasted starkly with the grim scenes of masked government employees scuttling about the area on a normal weekday.

Anti-social distancing was replaced by social closeness. He added that he does not plan on performing in the Coutts area for the protestors but that he will be “looking on with great interest.”

Spotify has pulled more than 100 episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience” as of Saturday, with some featuring Canadian public figures.

According to the website JRE Missing, 113 episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience” had been taken off of Spotify, many of them recorded before Rogan’s COVID-19 controversy.

Some of these episodes have Canadian guests such as Concordia University marketing professor Gad Saad and “2 Drink Minimum” co-hosts Mike Ward and Pantelis.

Saad said he suspects his episode was removed simply because it involved Rogan speaking the “N-word” in naming the title of a book.

“Hence, rather than recognizing the context, @spotify has deemed that singular word to be a nuclear attack even when uttered in an utterly non-racist manner (e.g., stating the word as part of a book’s title),” said Saad in a tweet on Saturday. “This infantilizes human beings in a manner that is grotesque.”

Saad added that Rogan “does not have a racist bone in his body.”

Ottawa’s decision comes after it was revealed that the purchase of Neo Lithium Corp. by Zijin Mining Group Co. Ltd had triggered no extensive national security review.

Liberal industry minister François-Philippe Champagne said that the federal government had initially looked over the project and had no qualms with it.

“This transaction was absolutely reviewed to make sure there was no security risk,’’ Champagne said.

Neo Lithium has developed one of the world’s largest overseas lithium brine projects in Argentina. Zijjin Mining Group acquired the company for $960 million.

Lithium is necessary for the production of electric vehicle batteries and has been designated a critical mineral since 2021. Alongside the US, Canada has also signed agreements to acquire battery minerals to gain a competitive edge over China, which dominates rare earth mineral extraction.

NDP House Leader Peter Julian says he is looking at reintroducing a private member’s bill that aims to ban the sale and display of hate symbols in Canada, like the swastikas and Confederate flags flown at a trucker convoy in Ottawa over recent days.

There were a couple of reported swastika events in Ottawa coupled with a Confederate flag, confirmed by the Times of Israel). The objective was to smear the Freedom Convoy Movement, not to mention the confiscation of the donations to the Freedom Movement by Canadians from Coast to Coast in support of “Real Democracy”.

Other countries ban Nazi symbols? What about Canada? What about Ukraine?? What about Trudeau?

What the media fails to acknowledge is that Prime Minister Trudeau has consistently supported Neo-Nazi politics in Ukraine. And Neo-Nazi politics in Ukraine is not a “Fringe Movement”, it is embedded in the military and national security apparatus, supported by the US and Canada.

The officers and diplomats did not object to the meeting and instead allowed themselves to be photographed with battalion officials despite previous warnings that the unit saw itself as pro-Nazi. The Azov Battalion then used those photos for its online propaganda, pointing out the Canadian delegation expressed “hopes for further fruitful co-operation.”

Uranium is a silvery-white metal that is weakly radioactive with unique nuclear properties. Uranium’s major uses are as high-density penetrators in the military sector and as a fuel for nuclear power plants in the civilian sphere.

There are three major subcategories for exported uranium. The 6-digit Harmonized Tariff System code prefix is 284410 for natural uranium and its compounds. Code prefix 284420 represents enriched uranium, while 284430 is for depleted uranium.

Natural uranium exports by country totaled US$3.06 billion in 2020, down by an average -26.1% for all exporting countries over the five-year period starting in 2016. From 2019 to 2020, exported natural uranium appreciated by 11.7%.

The value of exported enriched uranium was $2.3 billion, an amount up by 6% since 2016 but down by -8.9% from 2019 to 2020.

Depleted uranium exports increased in value by 35.2% to $47.8 billion in 2020. That amount is a flatlining 0.6% increase from 2019 to 2020.

Canada could face a larger trade dispute with the U.S. after the Department of Commerce launched another national security investigation, this time by looking into uranium imports.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross announced the investigation Wednesday, noting U.S. production of uranium for military and electric power has decreased to five per cent of its consumption from 49 per cent in 1987.

"The Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security will conduct a thorough, fair, and transparent review to determine whether uranium imports threaten to impair national security," Ross in a statement.

Canada is not mentioned by name, but it was the largest foreign supplier of uranium to the U.S., accounting for 25 per cent of U.S. imports in 2016, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said.

The investigation came as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shuffled his cabinet partly designed to signal Canada's intention to redouble efforts to diversify its trading partners in the face of U.S. protectionism.

Canada is the world's second-largest producer of uranium after Kazakhstan, with 23 per cent of global production in 2016, said Natural Resources Canada. The country produced 14 kilotonnes of the ore, all coming from Saskatchewan mines.

Ross said the investigation, which follows a January petition from two U.S. uranium mining companies, will canvass the uranium sector from mining through enrichment, defence and industrial consumption.

Uranium fuels 99 U.S. commercial nuclear reactors that produce 20 per cent of the power for the country's electricity grid. It is also needed for its nuclear arsenal and powers submarines and aircraft carriers.

Under Canada's nuclear non-proliferation policy, Canadian uranium can be used only for peaceful purposes.

The U.S. Commerce Department said the two petitioners that account for more than half of all uranium mined in the U.S., have laid off more than half their workforce over the last two years and operate at nine and 13 per cent of their respective capacity.

The investigation comes a day before the department holds a hearing on whether the imports of automobiles and automotive parts threaten U.S. national security.

Ottawa high school arts teacher Matt Muirhead said on Saturday that there was a point where things should turn violent against the truckers and that he was just about there.

“I think there is a point in time where you take up arms,” said Muirhead in a Twitter space on Saturday. “And I know that sounds aggressive maybe, but I want to know what I can do next.”

Muirhead works as a high school civics, drama and world religions teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board.

He said that he does not want Ottawa to be overturned by the Freedom Convoy, and while the truck drivers had a point that they wanted to make, he said they should now “piss off.”

“I’m sick of them,” he said. “This is our town, and you don’t belong here, so get lost.”

The host of the Twitter space pushed back against Muirhead.

“I want to underscore I don’t advocate and I know you’re not advocating taking up arms,” said the host. “But I understand the frustration that people feel they need to take a stand for the city.”

Muirhead had deleted his Twitter account by Sunday.

Despite already being heavily subsidized, the Toronto Star newspaper is requesting millions of dollars more taxpayer funding from the Trudeau government, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

Torstar CEO John Boynton has petitioned MPs for more subsidies, including a $5,000 tax credit to train employees how to use the Internet.

“Today’s news is digital and there is no going back as the majority of Canadians receive their news digitally,” said Boynton in a memo to the House of Commons Finance Committee obtained by Blacklock’s. “The industry needs time.”

Torstar was purchased by investors for $52 million in 2020. Torstar said in their annual report in 2019 that they received $6.8 million in federal aid and another $30 million in digital tax credits from the Ontario government while suffering a $64.2 million operating loss.

A report of an anti-Semitic document supposedly found at the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa has been debunked as a hoax, despite being pushed by legacy media and politicians as fact.

In a now-deleted tweet, Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) chair Bernie Farber posted a photo of an anti-Semitic flyer he claimed “a friend” had found at the site of the Ottawa freedom protests.

“Taken by a friend in Ottawa at the Occupation,” said Farber in a since-deleted tweet on Sunday. “Apparently in plain sight.”

Quillette associate editor Jonathan Kay debunked the flyer, however, pointing out the photo was identical to one from the US.

The Ontario Liberal Party is telling Premier Doug Ford to threaten to seize the Freedom Convoy protesters’ trucks if they do not leave Ottawa.

“The residents of Ottawa are victims of a dangerous antivax mob holding their city hostage,” said Ontario Liberal leader Steven Del Duca in a press release on Monday. “It has gone far beyond what can be considered a protest and the occupation must be dealt with using strong action.”

Del Duca also said that Ontario should declare a provincial state of emergency and called on Ontario attorney general Doug Downey to request Crown attorneys follow their prosecution manuals to seek forfeiture of any assets used in serious offences.

Using “Criminal Asset Forfeiture,” police are able to seize the assets of those committing criminal offences, including both property and money.

Without any evidence, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson said during a Monday council meeting that a weekend arson attempt at an apartment building in the city “clearly demonstrates the malicious intent” of the truckers’ convoy on Parliament Hill.

Police have only begun to investigate the matter and have provided no evidence to suggest the suspects were involved with the freedom convoy protests.

“Yesterday we learned of a horrific story that clearly demonstrates the malicious intent of the protesters occupying our city,” said Watson.

“On Sunday morning, two young men entered the lobby of the building on Lisgar St. where they proceeded to light fire starter bricks near the elevators before taping up the door handles so residents would struggle to get out during a fire.”

Photos of the attempted arson were first posted by Twitter user Matias Munoz who claimed to have been shown the security footage by the building’s manager. According to Munoz the police were not called until the next morning.

The fire was reportedly put out by a bystander who forced his way into the building to extinguish it. Continue…

“A decision was made to wedge, to divide and to stigmatize.”

Lightbound also expressed a belief that the political class is out of touch with working Canadians.

“Some seem to forget that isolation is felt differently. Not everyone can still earn money using their MacBook while at the cottage. Some are suffering in silence and feel like they’re not heard,” Lightbound said.

His reference to “the cottage” may have been a slight at Prime Minister Trudeau who has spent much of the declared pandemic working from his publicly funded cottage over video conferencing.

Lightbound also called out the Liberal rhetoric which labeled Freedom Convoy supporters “white supremacists” even though Canadians of all races have attended and supported the freedom events in Ottawa over the past two weeks.

The Liberal MP for Louis-Hébert, Quebec called the labelling of freedom-loving Canadians “absurd” and said that he had “enough respect for [his] fellow Canadians not to engage” in the name-calling.

According to Montreal newspaper La Presse, Lightbound has expressed his dismay over mandatory vaccination to colleagues for some time, he also affirmed that he is not the only one in the party who things the same, and there may be many more.

He said that over the weekend he went to Washington, D.C., to call on “American leaders” to halt vaccine mandates on their side of the border as well.

Last week, the Trudeau government hit back at the trucker protest by suggesting that an interprovincial vaccine mandate will be put in place for Canadian truckers.

Canadian Transport Minister Omar Alghabra told CBC’s Rosemary Barton that an interprovincial COVID shot mandate is being considered by the government, citing the party’s election campaign promise of “vaccines and vaccine mandates” during the fall.

Kenney affirmed the suspicion that interprovincial mandates are coming, by saying that he heard “that they [the Liberals] may be announcing something around that as early as Friday.”

“That would just make a bad situation even worse with no compelling public health benefit,” he said.

“If the federal government moves ahead with this policy, Alberta will fight it… including challenging it in court.”

The Ottawa city government has declared a state of emergency. It’s now a crime for anyone on the scene to give food, fuel, or aid of any kind to the truckers.
