Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made an attempt to justify his covid mandates by saying that people needed to comply with the restrictions to prevent further restrictions.

Trudeau made his comments when responding to Liberal MP Joel Lightbound during a parliamenttary debate. Lightbound had been critisizing his own party for not presenting a “roadmap” out of restrictions.

Summit News reports: He also accused the government of weaponizing the restrictions to “wedge and stigmatize” those who are refusing to comply with the mandates.

“What a lot of the anxiety and frustration in the population lies with the fact that some people… are afraid that certain measures are being normalized and that these measures shouldn’t be normalized, that they should be extraordinary and limited in time,” said Lightbound.

“I think that would go a long way in alleviating some of the frustration, and some of the division in our society and some of the polarization. That’s essential going forward,” he added.

Trudeau responded by essentially saying people needed to comply with the mandates, particularly vaccine passports, to prevent future mandates.

“Canadians got vaccinated. I can understand frustrations with mandates but mandates are the way to avoid further restrictions,” said Trudeau.

In other words, sacrifice your freedoms in order to get your freedoms back.

Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau has cornered himself. So what? Even if that is 100 percent accurate, it does not take into account all the vaccinated types who regretfully drank the Kool-Aid of the government and its flunkies.

It does not account for those pissed off at contracting COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated.

It does not account for those who were coerced into being vaccinated. For a leader to threaten citizens with job loss for not surrendering their bodily autonomy is morally corrupt.

Such actions expose Trudeau as unfit to lead. Besides, even if 90 percent of the people were fully informed and willingly accepted being vaccinated that still leaves 10 percent of the population as unwilling.

Granted, the trucker convoy may well be a minority that does not represent the views of the majority of Canadians, but does Trudeau not realize that he is the leader of a minority government? And is his divide-and-rule strategy acceptable for governing a country? Continue…

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) sent masks to the landfill, shuttered several warehouses and reduced its operations, severely impacting the nation’s COVID-19 response.

PHAC shuttered three out of nine warehouses containing medical equipment meant to deal with emergency situations including a pandemic. In total, 8,839,942 masks, gowns and other personal protective equipment (PPE) were tossed aside a year prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau plans to invoke the Emergencies Act according to sources close to the prime minister’s office.

According to the CBC, Trudeau told his caucus he will invoke the never-before-used Emergencies Act to give the federal government special powers to handle the ongoing Freedom Convoy protests across Canada.

The legislation was designed to replace the War Measures Act, which defines a national emergency as an “urgent and critical situation” that “seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it.”

The Act, if invoked, will provide the federal government extraordinary 30-day time-limited powers enabling the prohibition of public assembly, travel, and the use of specific property. It would allow Ottawa to designate protected places and force privately-owned tow truck companies to provide their services to the city.

It would be the first time the Act has been imposed since Trudeau’s father Pierre Elliott Trudeau invoked the War Measures Act to deal with the FLQ crisis in Quebec in 1970.

In a meeting with the Liberal caucus on Monday morning, Trudeau reportedly stated there were no plans to deploy the military. The move follows a meeting on Sunday of the federal cabinet and the Incident Response Group (IRG).

On late Sunday, Trudeau tweeted that the IRG discussed “further actions the government can take to help end the blockades and occupations.”

Also on Sunday, the Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair said on “Rosemary Barton Live” that the federal government has had discussions about invoking emergency powers to deal with the protests in Ottawa. Blair described that the attitude around invoking the Emergencies Act as “appropriate caution.”

Milk Creek near Coutts, Alberta

A plane (approx 12 seater) and a police helicopter landed in a nearby

field. Several full sized police vans rolled in and approximately 75

police in full shield gear approached Matt's group in a line. The

farmers and truckers formed a complete group of about 150, linked arms

and approached the police in line. As they walked they sang 'Oh

Canada'. They came to a stand-off and one of the truckers whom no one

had seen before ran towards the police and threw himself down on the

ground. The police moved to arrest the man (most likely a plant). The

other truckers didn't take the bait. A former RCMP special ops in the

trucker group spoke to the police and told them they were out of line

for showing up using intimidation. He asked them where the orders came

from as he knew all the commanding officers by name. The police had

nothing to say. Then one of the trucker leaders walked up to the police

line with his bible and asked the police if he could pray for them. He

did so for a few minutes. The police backed down and many hands were

shaken and there were even a few embraces.

It was an amazing result but a very intense situation at the start.

Interestingly, CTV and CBC "just happened" to show up 1 1/2 hours before

it all went down.
