>I can read in history books about something that happened only 20 years ago (911), in my lifetime, that's a total misrepresentation of the truth. I barely trust what I experience first hand any more, as I now see many instances where I initially misperceive what actually happened.
Right there with you anon.
Recently realized: even though I learned not long ago that "coins show we're a thousand years in the past" i.e. it's 1022 not 2022…
I took it a step further; how do I know it's "x022"?[1]
I don't.
Look outside, I see snow, know it's winter. See the sun, know it's day.
Nothing external to me, other than "other people's words" tells me what year it is.
Refreshing, to not know. Also – what day of the week is it? No idea.
That's how "science" is done – by admitting, there's a question. Then, find the answer.
"Science" was even described in Scripture that way; Proverbs 25:2 KJV: "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter."
God bless in Jesus name.
