Continuing to dig on this. There's a new twitter account just created. https://twitter.com/NoOttawa. Looks like all of these outfits are a group of Antifa / Commies. Highly likely the NoOttawa Twitter is being run by this Sam Hersh fag.

He wants to shut down the freedom convoy. Apparently he's worked for a couple of city councilors election.

Going though his twitter heed, it would seem he was part of organizing the failed counter protest and trying to call it off. The commies seem to be lost and not be able to coordinate a countermove.

Well the Sam he is (likely) referring to is Sam Hersch a Local NDP campaigner. (Look up his Linkedin Profile) He has worked for Shawn Menard, Catherine Mckenney, Rawlson King, Nikki ashton, and Joel harden previously in one form or another.

Courage Ottawa, is just another of many local NDP organizations with Sam on the board or helping out. The other being Horizon Ottawa

When someone is using these organization as cover to slander, attack, and outright play dirty politics I would not expect them to be treated with any amount of respect.

Sam's work history should not be justification for dismissing the work of an organization he is but one member of. He is not using Courage "as a cover", this is not some tournament of shadows being put on by the Big Left.

He is an upper member of both orgs, and his work history is completely relevant to the discussion at hand.

Why? because Sam Hersch is using these organization to slander sitting democratically elected councilors without having to put his name to the opinions espoused, or have them linked back to the other councilors that support him.

Seasoned local activists and the Ottawa Police Service have the same message for anyone who might want to head downtown this weekend to counter an anti-vaccine mandate protest: don't go.

The "Reclaim Ottawa" protest on Instagram garnered a few thousand followers, but has since called off a demonstration for Saturday citing safety concerns.

Sam Hersh, a Horizon Ottawa board memberwho helps organize at least a dozen demonstrations a year in Ottawa, cancelled an event planned for Tuesday. Hersh has rallied on topics such as police funding, the light rail or affordable housing, but says the current situation in Ottawa feels very different.

"These people want confrontation. I'm not saying that for everyone, but a lot of the folks who are leading this are looking for that," said Hersh, who said he was threatened for wearing a mask while downtown this week.

He worried even a peaceful protest might end with violence, and says groups representing Black, Indigenous, or people of colour told him they were concerned too.

"It's crazy to be having this conversation," he said, adding he feels police haven't protected people enough.

Many Ottawa community groups who frequently collaborate on demonstrations met Thursday night and decided to find safer ways to channel their message than putting themselves in the fray, said Hersh.
