Anons, please check me, this pic doesn't look right. It looks like the pic is taken inside the gym, and the doors swing out. So putting the tables where they are here won't keep anyone from entering. And, the students said that the staff put the tables against the doors to keep them IN the gym. Doesn't make sense.

Yeah, that's what I thought, just wanted to check my thinking. It looks like the students INSIDE the gym put the tables against the doors, and though their hearts are in the right place, they're victims of government schooling, and can't think their way out of a wet paper bag.
