UK: Sir Keir Starmer mobbed in street by protesters

Sir Keir Starmer has been mobbed by dozens of protesters shouting 'traitor' at him in Westminster and had to be rescued by police officers.

In video footage posted on social media, the Labour leader is seen walking near to Parliament surrounded by police officers as he was confronted by a group, some of whom repeated a Savile slur first used by Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Parliament.

Sir Keir was driven away from the scene in a police vehicle.

Starmer was the Director of Public Prosecutions (AG equivalent I guess) when they failed to prosecute So-vile whilst he was alive. Boris brought it up when Starmer was giving him shit in Parliament over the parties.

One dead after shooting at Washington supermarket; gunman on the loose

Officers rushed to a Fred Meyers in Richland in southeast Washington.

A gunman opened fire at a supermarket in southeast Washington on Monday, killing at least one person, and police said they are now looking for an "armed and dangerous" suspect.

The Kennewick Police Department released pictures of a white pickup truck and a man in a checkered shirt and dark-colored vest who allegedly shot at least two people at the Fred Meyers in Richland.

"The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous," Richland police said in a statement.

Area residents were asked to "avoid the Richland Fred Meyers on Wellsian Way," Richland police said in a social media notice posted at 11:17 a.m. PST.

Washington state schools go on lockdown during possible shooting situation at Fred Meyer

Multiple schools in Richland, Washington, were put on lockdown Monday as police responded to a possible shooting situation at a Fred Meyer grocery store.

Richland School District said that Richland High, River’s Edge High, Carmichael, Marcus Whitman, and Lewis & Clark had been put on a "non-critical lockdown" due to police activity at the Fred Meyer on Wellsian Way.

"We will let families know as soon as the non-critical lockdown is lifted," the district wrote in a message displayed on its home page.

A district spokesperson told Fox News that the district put schools on lockdown as a "precaution step" upon recommendation from the police.

The Tri-City Herald reported that Fred Meyer employees and customers were being escorted out of the store to gather in the parking lot while officers canvassed the store.

Richland police were asking the public to avoid the area. A department spokesperson told Fox News the situation is still an active investigation.

No information was provided about possible injuries or suspects arrested.

The Kennewick Police Department released surveillance footage of the "suspect and suspect vehicle" in relation to the shooting.

The department said the suspect should be considered "armed and dangerous."
