Understand the problem. Lots of bakers have quirks in case u din notice, ha ha. things they like that nobody else does or vice-versa. That'll always be the case.
but if baker likes sauce that nobody else respects like Sorcha Faal etc there's stuff you can do to make the argument stick.
Like dig to find another source. If nothing found, inform baker and ask "why not found if the news is real?"

Ask - Why not wait if it's iffy? The news will break soon enough it it's real. Baker can still reject but evidence and good arguments make the arguers look reasonable and the baker look ….not so reasonable.
another idea - ask baker to put a QUESTION MARK after the headline and call for a DIG.
You can't force bakers to be reasonable but can make them look foolish if they stubbornly refuse reasonable feedback.
