Most bakers have been attacked countless times. So what? I can't say i have never called somebody faggot (etc), but rarely. Because most of the time, I make my points with rational arguments and evidence. I suggest you do the same.
Namecalling is the lazy way to attack people - resolves nothing.
Describing the situation means thoroughly describing it, so that third parties understand - not making vague accusations. And also limiting your critique to what you can back up with actual evidence and conservative comments. Not, for example, seeing someone do something careless or making a mistake and crying "comp'd." Even if others do it to you - and they WILL - don't do it back. That is what is meant by grownup.
