A notable from one of yesterday's early breds (iirc) was that Arizona Representative Mark Finchem (R-11) has introduced legislation to decertify the AZ election. His letter references Marks v. Stinson as a precident for seating the duly elected official.
Interesting case - involving absentee voting and the Democrat machine's tactics. Playbook still in use. The election results were ultimately overturned even though the Democrat was seated and actually cast the deciding vote to certify the fraudulent election. Can't make it up.
Ultimately, absentee and mail in ballots were thrown out and only machine cast votes were counted…..
"Marks, the Republican candidate, challenged the absentee ballots. Unsurprisingly, the elections board rejected the claims and hastily certified Stinson as the winner, days before certifying other races on the same ballot. Stinson was seated in the Pennsylvania Senate, himself casting the tie-breaking vote to affirm that he was properly elected and entitled to vote on behalf of the electorate."
