The reason for the change of the banner was because of picrel. At that time itself, it was fucking obvious that there were multiple FF attempts that were being constructed under the guise of "Qanon". Many many baker wars were fought because of that shit. That's the reason why we don't use that banner anymore.

The constant changing of the banner was actually done to get undetected by the bots at that time. Prior to the change, almost every single bread was heavily shilled by bots. Bakers found out that the best way to get undetected was to constantly switch up on the banners. Overtime it just became part of how this place operates.
