I think it's more along the lines of Trump/MAGA knowing what play is going to be run and then making an obvious counter-move right before the pol elite try to run with it.
Similar to a QB calling a dive off tackle in the huddle, then, as he lines up, watches 3 linebackers shift to the hole he was planning to run at. Has to go with an audible, but the defense shows they knew what was coming.
That's what I think happened with the TX Rep saying his office was spied on in Nov '21 by assets dressed as construction workers (or similar), the elite were going to break something with the information they got in that raid, but the Rep announced the raid now, in Feb '22, just before the elite ran with it. Now, if the elite release the info, they incriminate themselves. It also forces the elite to waste a lot of time planning shit that gets blown up before launch.
This seems to be happening a lot. Good guys are front running their defenses against planned elite attacks. Can only mean they know what the elite are doing.
