Womananon here. I need to identify a gender for a moment, for credibility in my reply to another womananon who identified as such.

Know that God DID make women subservient to men, because that is His model for God's relationship to humankind.

By practicing that model or symbolism or template, we (both men and women) are constantly reminded of our relationship to God. He is above us, and will always be above us.

("For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:9)

It is a very hard thing for a woman to learn.

Especially with feminism and culture teaching the opposite.

I speak from personal experience.

It is also hard for men to learn.

In order for him to perform his role in the relationship, he must love and nurture his wife, and treat her with respect.

This is one of the reasons why the sexualized images of women that are often posted here are unwelcome.

God created great beauty, and his plan of having two sexes for procreation is very wonderful.

But it does not mean looking upon the other sex with lust.

Lust is not the same as the love that God has for humankind, and that a Godly man should have for his Godly wife.

God bless you, friend womanAnon, and may your mind dwell on Isaiah 55:9 until understanding comes.
