The definition of Schizophrenia has broadened, especially in the past few years. The main idea of it is an abnormal way of thinking. So unusual/prolonged fear (agoraphobia/anxiety/panic attacks), chronic depression, seeing sounds, hearing colours, voices in your head, etc.
Some people probably have legit super powers but labeled Schizo. Basically anything outside of normiehood is considered Schizo although lots of actual crazy/insane people in there too.
