TWO-DAY CONTEST TO PICK AN IMAGE FOR ALL GENERAL BREADS

Whatever the banner is, it should represent values upon which all or most anons can agree, like freedom, valor, honor, unity, and courage under fire.

Some of the comments in that thread are debating whether we should be having this contest.

Admin went ahead with the decision based on previous discussions; many anons expressed both support for the idea and relief that there would be a single image. Anons posted images they liked as well. There was not serious opposition.

It appears that some anons did not take the discussion seriously. That we cannot help.

The object is to promote UNITY and not have the situation we JUST HAD, where a banner was posted that started a firestorm of protest. Other banners have done the same. We cannot judge each banner individually.

The priority here is to have a banner that REPRESENTS WHAT WE DO AS A GROUP. It is not to allow bakers creative expression. The Banner represents us ALL, not a SINGLE PERSON.

Did not say this, but this is a TRYOUT. Try a single image and see how it goes, because we can always REVERT.If we do not try, we will not know.

Please submit the images that inspire you – and read the comments that submitters make.

Don't let this be something that divides us, but a way forward.
