Vaccine death hits close to home. Anon lives in Philippines.

Nana was in her late 60's, with a lifetime spent raising children on her rice farm. Healthy as a horse except for some high blood pressure, living her life normally. Maybe visited the doctor or dentist a handful of times in her entire life.

Took the vax on Dec. 31 under pressure from her family, who was under pressure from the local govt. Mayors here receive 1million pesos if their city or town achieves a certain vaccine target goal. By Jan. 2 she had a rash of strange symptoms, including weakness in the legs. She struggled being 'sick' throughout January, and her white blood cell count was way out of whack.

She had been in the hospital now since the beginning of Feb, and received blood and other care. Diagnosed as severely anemic, and not getting better. Died in her sleep last night. The family is trading phone calls this morning, most of it I can't understand. But they are already asking why in the hell did she take that vaccine….
