I have flown our Nation's Flag outside of our home for decades. Replacing one after the other as they wore. Took it down a few days ago because some bad weather was forecast to come through. I made a decision to leave it down. With what is taking place in our nation today, I sometimes believe that it's just a matter of when, not if, we make it. It's hard to watch what is happening in this country especially since it is being brought about by supposedly, fellow countrymen. The "Enemy Within" is strong, capable and executing their plans to kill this nation off without firing one, single shot. I live in a red area. None of the fuckery taking place in other parts of the country has come anywhere near happening here. It would be put down quickly and with malice. Hence the dichotomy I live with. I am fine, my family is fine, my property is fine. Life is good. God has blessed me in ways that I surely do not deserve. But looking out across the landscape it's hard not to wonder just how long all of this last. Even here. From a practical point of view, there is nothing I can extraordinarily do to prevent what is happening. Unless of course, it comes to my county, my town, my door. After watching this story and reflecting I realize that untold numbers of Patriots, from the moments of this nation's birth up to this very day, have given infinitely more than I have every been asked to give and they gave all in circunstances that would surely cause many to cower in unimaginable fear. I am but one man but I will not live life on my knees and in fear at the behest of any man. This is our history, our nation's history and this is our battle, our war today. It is so far, unlike any war anyone has had to fight but none the less it is a war. I just put that Flag back up on our home. This ain't over.
