Graveyard shift as a CNA about 20 years ago. Had a big dude in a solo room (expensive) who had had a stroke. Young "wife" came in to check on him almost every day. I was there every morning when he got his meds. Caught him spitting them out once and just let it go. It was all sedation/pain management type shit anyway and I didn't really think he needed them. Anyway he sobered up after a few days without the shit and lo and behold he was not really all that bad off. Speech returned and he started talking to me. He started sitting up in bed and all the stuff you would hope for when someone is recovering from a stroke. I got about 4 days of talking to the dude and it turned out he was OSS to CIA and his "wife" was actually his handler. There to insure he didn't spill any info to anyone (he did a bit but not much). Anyway, nurse and I start charting him as recovering and refusing meds and I'll be damned if that bitch didn't get me kicked out of that hall and the next time I saw him he was a vegetable again. Didn't even recognize me.
I only made it a year in the medical field. I don't have that certain something that is required to do those jobs. Kudos to you for being able.
There is still quite a bit of fuckery with the nuclear shit, where and when they blew up what. I met a witness to a supposed 4 above ground tests of the W79 8" nuclear round at the Fallon Naval Air station. B17 range to be exact. None of those tests are admitted to or even acknowledged. The Howitzer they fired them out of is still there though.
