House RINOs Push Amnesty for Illegals Plan

At a time when Biden’s weakness and terrible policy choices have presented an open flank against which the GOP could attack and win major political victories, or at least score some big points before the midterms to help boost their reelection chances, what are the RINO members of the party doing?

Are they temporarily growing a spine, if only so that they can trick voters into letting them keep their cushy Congressional jobs?

Nope. Instead, the Congressional RINOs have spent time working on an “amnesty for illegals” plan that they’re now pushing.

At a time when the country is furious that Biden has let so many illegals flood into the country, when all Republicans need to do is appear strong on the border, Reps. Maria Salazar (R-FL), Dan Newhouse (R-WA), John Curtis (R-UT), Pete Sessions (R-TX), Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (R-PR), Tom Reed (R-NY), and Peter Meijer (R-MI) are pushing a bill that would give those generally unwelcome illegals amnesty.

The legislation, ridiculously named “The Dignity Act“, would effectively provide green cards to all those illegals residing here. In the words of the bill’s summary:

The Dignity Act provides a reasonable, compassionate, and complete solution to America’s

immigration crisis. It ends illegal immigration to the United States once and for all, reestablishes law and order, provides a practical solution for the undocumented, revitalizes the American workforce, and restores America’s economy.

The bill then goes on to absurdly claim that handing illegals a green card will somehow “[End] illegal immigration once and for all” and “[Protect] in American Workers and saves American industries“.

How will handing amnesty cards to all the many millions that have broken the law in coming here somehow end illegal immigration and protect American workers and industries?

That’s unclear; apparently we need to take it on faith. A reasonable person would assume that effectively rewarding the millions that broke the law in getting to America would simply encourage more people to brave the border crossing and come over illegally, then ask for their green card. Furthermore, the addition of tens of millions to the legal economy would further depress wages, especially for Americans at the lower end of the income spectrum.

New Disney Junior TV show lectures preschoolers about racial microaggressions

Disney Junior – a self-described "global multiplatform brand expressly for kids age 2-7" – launched a new kids show earlier this month titled "Rise Up, Sing Out." The short-form animated musical series is executive produced by Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson and Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter of the music group The Roots.

D23 – "the official Disney fan club" – says "Rise Up, Sing Out" is an "animated show featuring music-based shorts that showcase an inspiring, empowering, and optimistic message about race, culture, community, and celebrating differences."

Variety reports, "The series, which will touch upon themes like diversity, inclusion, kindness and self-expression, was produced in response to parents who have increasingly asked Disney Junior for entertainment content to aid them in talking to children about respect towards others."

Common Sense Media – an organization that provides parents with age-based ratings of entertainment – noted that "Rise Up, Sing Out" is suitable for children ages 3 and up.

Common Sense Media states:

In each approximately 3-minute episode, a diverse group of kids share ideas, sometimes have conflicts, and then sing songs that answer questions like "Is it OK for another person to touch my hair without permission?" or "What's it like to have parents from two different cultures?" Concepts addressed through the show's songs include microagressions, hearing scary news on TV, black hair routines, and more, all explored in an age-appropriate way.

The first episode has a song with the lyrics:

Come on, everybody, let's gather 'round

It's time to talk about the things that are goin' down

Racism in the world affects me and you

And it's time to end it now, let's come together, we'll show you how

The St. Louis American said the show for preschoolers features characters who "grapple with the harsh realities of implicit bias and the trauma that comes with bearing witness to racial violence."

The outlet describes the plot for one episode: "Before bedtime, Gabriel confesses to his abuela that he is terrified after seeing the news where he saw someone suffer simply because they had the same skin color as he has."

Another episode shows the characters get upset when they feel like they are not represented at an art museum.

Another episode lectures preschoolers about racial microaggressions.

"A microaggression is when someone says or does something that makes you feel bad. Sometimes just because of your race," a child says in the episode. "But you know what, he’s wrong. You should be proud of your skin, it’s what makes you-YOU!"

The cartoon characters then break into a song.

Biden unfreezes $29 billion for Iran, handing huge gift to nation that promises to build nuclear weapons and bomb Israel

It’s becoming patently obvious that Joe Biden’s handlers are aligned with former President Barack Obama in terms of how they view Israel and the Middle East.

Obama spent eight years downplaying Israel’s security concerns because he’s a Muslim sympathizer, going so far as to make a horrific ‘nuclear deal’ with Iran and then deliver some $1.5 billion in hard currency to the cash-strapped regime, much of which then went to support — wait for it — terrorist activities against Israel and Israeli enemies, as then-Secretary of State John Kerry himself admitted.

So, knowing that the Iranian regime supports terrorism and anti-Israel activities, why would you pay Iran off — unless you wanted to support anti-Israeli terrorism (because your boss, again, is a Muslim sympathizer)?

Fast forward five years, and many of Obama’s people are now working in the Biden regime, as has become apparent after the current White House agreed to unfreeze $29 billion in assets for Iran, as the Jerusalem Post reported, and the Biden admin did so just as the Iranian regime appears to be on the verge of collapse, which would be a good thing for the entire region.

The outlet explains:

A hacktivist organization has revealed a highly sensitive Iran Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps document that asserts Iranian “society is in a state of explosion” because of the crippling sanctions imposed on the nation due to its illicit nuclear program.

The US government news organization Radio Farda obtained the document from Edalat-e Ali (Ali’s Justice), the whistleblower entity that has also secured confidential documents and video footage about the torture of Iranian prisoners, wrote Farda.

Radio Farda’s Golnaz Esfandiari, who wrote the exclusive story, notes that “the document covers a meeting with IRGC’s intelligence wing and quotes an official named ‘Mohammadi’ saying that Iran’s ‘society is in a state of explosion.'”

According to Esfandiari, Mohammadi explained further that “social discontent has risen by 300 percent in the past year.”

The report said that the authenticity of the document could not be independently verified, but it appears to be valid given other reporting regarding the current state of Iranian society under the authoritarianism of the fanatical Islamic government.

Meanwhile, in the midst of Iranian societal implosion, the Daily Mail reported that the Biden regime lifted some sanctions imposed by the real president, Donald Trump, that included unfreezing $29 billion in assets “in the hope that Iran will return to the 2015 agreement” (which, again, is bad for Israel and the region).

The sell-out of Israel comes as U.S. negotiators are heading back to Vienna, Austria, “for what could be a make-or-break session,” with Secretary of State Antony Blinken having signed a series of documents waiving the sanctions that are linked to Iran’s nuclear activities, the Daily Mail added.

Resuming the waiver “would be essential to ensuring Iran’s swift compliance” if a new nuclear deal can be reached, according to a U.S. State Department official.

In other words, the Biden regime is mimicking the Obama regime — bribing Iran to make a phony ‘nuclear deal’ to give the White House an equally phony foreign policy ‘win’ ahead of the 2022 elections, and all at the risk of Israel’s national security.

Senator who took donations from Big Pharma blocks vote on bill to lower drug prices

Republican Sen. Mike Crapo of Idaho blocked Sen. Bernie Sanders’ attempt Wednesday to force a vote on legislation that would slash prescription drug prices, thwarting the Vermont senator’s effort to fast-track the new bill as the pharmaceutical industry rushes to hike costs in the new year.

“A lifesaving prescription drug does not mean anything if you cannot afford to buy that drug.”

Sanders, chair of the Senate Budget Committee, requested unanimous consent to proceed to debate and a vote on the Cutting Medicare Prescription Drug Prices in Half Act, a measure he introduced earlier Wednesday alongside Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.).

If passed, the bill would bring the prices of drugs covered by Medicare into line with what the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or the Federal Supply Schedule pay for the same medications. According to a 2017 Government Accountability Office study, the VA “paid an average of 54% less per unit than Medicare” for a sample of hundreds of brand-name and generic drugs.

But Crapo—a major recipient of pharmaceutical and insurance industry donations—objected to Sanders’ request to advance the legislation, claiming it would usher in “more bureaucracy.” The Idaho Republican is the lead sponsor of a more industry-friendly bill titled the Lower Costs, More Cures Act, which advocates a “market-based approach” to lowering drug prices.

In a floor speech on Wednesday, Sanders said that “for far too long, it has not been Congress that has been regulating the pharmaceutical industry, it has been the pharmaceutical industry that has been regulating Congress.”

“All over this country, the American people are asking a simple question: How many people need to die, how many people need to get unnecessarily sicker, before Congress is prepared to take on the greed of the prescription drug industry?” said the Vermont senator. “Enough is enough. A lifesaving prescription drug does not mean anything if you cannot afford to buy that drug.”

“We cannot allow the pharmaceutical industry to charge the American people, by far, the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs,” Sanders added.
