From the Hebrew word שׁכִינה (shekhinah) meaning "God's manifested glory" or "God's presence". This word does not appear in the Bible, but later Jewish scholars used it to refer to the dwelling place of God, especially the Temple in Jerusalem.
In some sources, shekhinah represents the feminine attributes of the presence of God, shekhinah being a feminine word in Hebrew, based especially on readings of the Talmud.
The Talmud is the only place that Shekinah is ever used. Not in the Bible. Stop listening to preachers and read your Bible. The churches are comp'd, they use curricula and lesson plans from Jewish/Jesuit companies. Not the Bible. When I started reading the Bible for myself I saw just how much we WEREN'T being taught in church.
Rom 3
What, then, is the advantage of being a Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? 2Much in every way. First of all, they have been entrusted with the very wordsa of God.
3What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? 4Certainly not! Let God be true and every man a liar. As it is written:
“So that You may be proved right when You speak
and victorious when You judge.”
Don't allow yourself to be decieved. There is a lot that we must unlearn that the Church taught us. There is much to learn when we search the Bible for ourselves so we KNOW what we believe and why.
