The Bible says that Satan does not COMPEL mankind. He tempts and INDUCES mankind. (*Bible example below for those who are interested.) He exploits human weaknesses such as greed, anger, pride, gluttony, lust, jealousy, etc. And he is very clever and wily. The Bible calls him (among other things) the Prince of the Power of the Air. That fits with many things, but one thing it fits really well with is advertising and broadcasting of all kinds. The digital information age is satan's playground.

But no, he does not compel anyone. People get to choose good or evil.

We must choose wisely.

If we wish to avoid satan's inducements we ought to avoid certain things that are very commonplace in our culture, because satan and satan's servants have filled the culture with these things.

  • Bible reference: Rev 13:16. "Also it [the Beast] causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. "

It "causes", not "compels".

It was me.

On Linux systems, the command to extract EXIF data from an image into a text file is:

identify -verbose filename.png outfile.txt

I forget if I had to install a package to execute the identify command. Pic related for more info.

No doubt there is some equivalent function available for other OSes.

Good. Had a co-worker once who counselled, "Don't make yourself indispensible." It was good advice. Better to teach others and spread the skills around. Stronger team all around.
